Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 255969. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines lebhaften sauren Farbstoffes der Anthraehinonreiheo Das vorliegende Patent betrifft ein Ver fahren zur Herstellung eines lebhaften sau ren Farbstoffes der Anthrachinonreihe und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das technische Gemisch eines Salzes der 1-Amino- 4-broin-antlirachinoii \2.5- und -2.8-clisulfonsäu- ren mit 2-Amino-1.2.3.4-tetrahydronaphthalin kondensiert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 22,5 Teile des technischen Gemisches der Kaliumsalze der 1-Ainino-4-bromanthrachinon- 2.5- und -2.8-disulfonsäuren, enthaltend 1 Teil (älaubersalz, 25 Teile 2 Amino-1.2.3.4-tetra- hydronaphthalin, 8 Teile Natronlauge 30 %, 0,4 Teile Kupferpulver, 60 Teile Alkohol und 240 Teile Wasser werden so lange unter Rüh ren auf 60-70 erhitzt, bis die Masse rein blau geworden ist.
Das Kondensationsprodukt wird auf übliche Weise aufgearbeitet und lie fert ein blaues Farbstoffpulver, das sich in Wasser leicht mit leuchtend grünstichig blauer Farbe löst. Die Lösung des reinen Farbstoffes in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure ist farblos, beim Zusatz von wenig p-Form- aldehyd, tritt ein Farbumschlag nach rot stichig blau ein.
Der neue Farbstoff färbt tierische Fasern, wie Wolle, Seide usw., sowie künstliche Fasern, z. B. Nylon, in lebhaften reinblauen Tönen von guter Lichtechtheit, guten nassen Echtheiten und ist von gutem Egalisierungs- vermögen.
Man kann die Kondensation auch unter Einleiten eines Stickstoffstromes vornehmen. Die Mengen an hydroaromatischem Amin, Alkali, Katalysator, Alkohol und Wasser kön nen in weiten Grenzen variiert werden.

The condensation product is worked up in the usual way and delivers a blue dye powder which dissolves easily in water with a bright greenish blue color. The solution of the pure dye in concentrated sulfuric acid is colorless; if a little p-formaldehyde is added, the color changes to red and blue.
The new dye dyes animal fibers such as wool, silk, etc., as well as artificial fibers, e.g. B. nylon, in vivid, pure blue tones of good lightfastness, good wet fastness properties and is of good leveling capacity.
The condensation can also be carried out with the introduction of a stream of nitrogen. The amounts of hydroaromatic amine, alkali, catalyst, alcohol and water can be varied within wide limits.
