<B>Bouton.</B> L'invention a pour objet un bouton, carac térisé en ce qu'il comprend un corps de bou ton présentant une cavité dont. le fond est percé de plusieurs trous, une pièce de fixation munie de pointes destinées à être introduites dans lesdits trous après avoir traversé le tissu auquel on veut fixer le bouton, pour ensuite être recourbées dans ladite cavité, et une ca lotte amovible s'emboîtant sur le corps du bouton pour masquer ladite cavité.

La fig. 1 est une vue en coupe du bouton monté (le tissu n'est pas représenté). La fig. 2 est une coupe axiale de la calotte de ferme ture. La fig. 3 est une coupe axiale du corps du bouton. Les fig. 4 et 5 sont, une vue en élévation, respectivement une vue en plan, de la pièce de fixation.
Le corps du bouton possède une cavité cylindrique 1 dans le fond de laquelle sont. percés six trous 2. Lors de la fixation du bou ton sur l'étoffe, on introduit les pointes 3 de la pièce < le fixation à travers ladite étoffe dans lesdits trous, puis on rabat les pointes à l'intérieur de la cavité. La calotte de ferme ture, représentée sans garniture d'étoffe à la fig. 3, est ensuite fixée sur le corps du bouton, comme montré à la fig. 1.
Le bouton décrit présente les avantages des boutons connus et remédie par une très grande solidité de sa fixation à leur inconvé nient de souvent se détacher par usure et rup ture du fil qui les fixe.
La partie extérieure de la cavité cylindri que du corps du bouton sert d'appui aux bords de la boutonnière.
Par le fait que la cavité du corps de bou ton est plus grande que la pièce de fixation, il est possible de disposer sur chacune des faces du tissu un bouton et de fixer ces deux boutons placés ainsi dos à dos avec une seule pièce de fixation.

Fig. 1 is a sectional view of the mounted button (the fabric is not shown). Fig. 2 is an axial section of the closing cap. Fig. 3 is an axial section of the body of the button. Figs. 4 and 5 are an elevational view, respectively a plan view, of the fastener.
The body of the button has a cylindrical cavity 1 in the bottom of which are. drilled six holes 2. When fixing the button on the fabric, the spikes 3 of the part <the fastener are introduced through said fabric in said holes, then the spikes are folded inside the cavity. The closing cap, shown without fabric lining in fig. 3, is then fixed to the body of the button, as shown in FIG. 1.
The button described has the advantages of known buttons and remedies, by a very great solidity of its attachment, their disadvantage often being detached by wear and breakage of the thread which fixes them.
The outer part of the cylindrical cavity of the button body serves as a support for the edges of the buttonhole.
By the fact that the body cavity of the button is larger than the fastening piece, it is possible to have a button on each side of the fabric and to fix these two buttons thus placed back to back with a single fastening piece. .
