Description

System for the suction of broken threads on spinning machines. The invention relates to a system for the suction of broken threads on sphinxes, in which branch channels with at least two suction nozzles opening into the zone of the running thread are connected to a Sainniel canal. It is dadureli --e- marked that at least a section of the nozzles and the branch duct consists of a permeable material.

The transparent fabric can be ordered from a flame-retardant material. It can also consist of a synthetic resin, in particular of poly styrene.

In Figs. 1 and \? an exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown, namely in Fig. 1 a partial transverse line through a spinning machine with a suction system and in Fig. 2 a section through a suction head with suction nozzles arranged thereon.

The thread 1 runs from the delivery cylinders? the indicated drafting system for thread guide 3 and is wound on the bobbin -l. The nozzle 5 is located in the areas of the loud thread. It is connected to a branch duct of the collecting duct 10. This branch channel is. designed as a suction head 7 to which the plate 6 with the four nozzles 5 arranged thereon is attached.

The suction head 7 is inserted in the intermediate roller 8 and this in the connection 9 of the collecting channel 10, which is connected via a filter. connected to a fan or other device for air extraction. The connections of the intermediate tube 8 with the suction head 7 and the nozzle 9 are sealed by short, elastic Schläuelie 11.

The suction head 7 and the plate 6 with the nozzles 5 are made from the synthetic resin polystyrene.

In the event of a thread breakage, the thread, which runs loosely from the delivery cylinders, is sucked into the nozzle by the air flow and carried away through the suction head, intermediate pipe, nozzle and collecting channel.

In systems for the suction of broken threads on spinning machines, loose fibers and dust and particles adhering to the fibers form deposits in the suction channels, particularly at the deflection points, which must be removed to avoid blockages.

The detection and thus the timely removal of such deposits is considerably facilitated by the formation of at least some of the channels from permeable material, in that the worker can also control the inside of the parts concerned during the normal cleaning machine . If he notices pollution, so can. pull out the suction head and clean it.

As most of the spun fibers are known to pose a fire hazard, it is advisable to choose a non-flammable material as the transparent material, for example a suitably treated synthetic resin.
