Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 266373. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes der Anthrachinonreihe. Das vorliegende Patent betrifft, ein Ver fahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Anthra- chinonfarbst.offes und ist dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man ein Gemisch von Leuko-6- chlorchinizarin und 6-Chlorchinizarin mit 4- Amino-diphenylmethan kondensiert und die erhaltene Base sulfoniert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 6 Teile Leuko-6-chlorchinizarin, 6 Teile 6-Chlorchinizarin, 6 Teile Borsäure, 20 Teile 4-Aminodiphenylmethan und 100 Teile Amyl- alkohol werden bei 100-1200 gerührt, bis die Kondensation beendet ist. Nach Oxydation mit einem Luftstrom, gegebenenfalls bei Ge genwart von etwas Piperidin und Kupfer- acetat, wird filtriert, mit Alkohol und schliess lich mit, heissem Wasser gewaschen. Die erhal tene Base kann durch Kristallisation aus orga nischen Lösungsmitteln gereinigt werden.
Sie besteht aus dunkeln Kristallen, die sich in organischen Lösungsmitteln grün lösen.
10 Teile der erhaltenen Base werden in der 4-10fachen Menge Schwefelsäure 95-100% gelöst und gerührt, bis eine Probe in Wasser leicht löslich geworden ist. Der Farbstoff wird auf übliche Weise abgetrennt und färbt: Wolle in gelbgrünen Tönen von ausgezeichneten Echtheiten an. Er stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar, das "sich in Wasser mit grüner Farbe löst, und besitzt die Formel

After oxidation with a stream of air, if necessary in the presence of a little piperidine and copper acetate, it is filtered, washed with alcohol and finally with hot water. The base obtained can be purified by crystallization from organic solvents.
It consists of dark crystals that dissolve green in organic solvents.
10 parts of the base obtained are dissolved in 4-10 times the amount of 95-100% sulfuric acid and stirred until a sample has become readily soluble in water. The dye is separated off and dyed in the usual way: wool in yellow-green shades with excellent fastness properties.
