Description

Rolladen.

Shutters. The present invention relates to a roller shutter which has hinged chains that can be wound on drums and transversely to these running rails made of metal that are fastened to the individual links of the chain hinge.

The attached drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIGS. 1 and 2 show the first example in plan view and side view, respectively, FIGS. 3 and 4 show the second example in plan view and side view.

Two hinge chains 1, 2, only one of which is shown, run in the roller shutter from top to bottom and can be wound onto drums. At their individual links 2 verlau Fende rails 3 made of metal are attached to the outside transversely to the chains, z. B. by means of rivets or screws. The lower rail edges 5 are curved outwards. This creates a slot-like opening 4 between the rails, which is used for ventilation. Such a roller shutter is therefore suitable for windows and doors. The rainwater drips off at the curved rail edges 5.

According to the example according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the rails 6 collide with their chamfered edges 7 when the shutter is lowered, so that the ingress of dust is prevented as far as possible. A roller shutter according to this design is therefore ideally suited for office furniture.

Claims (1)

2. PATENT CLAIM: Roller shutters, characterized in that hinge chains that can be wound up on drums and rails running across them to the metal. are provided, which are attached to the individual links of the hinged chains. SUBClaims 1. Roller shutter according to claim, characterized in that the lower edge of the rail is curved outwards so that when the shutter is lowered, a slot-like opening is created between it and the upper edge of the next lower rail. 2. Roller shutter according to patent claim, characterized in that the edges of the rails are chamfered and collide when the roller shutter is lowered.
