une fente dans laquelle passe l'autre extrémité du lien pour y "être retenue par coincement lorsque @sous l'effet de la tension longitudinale du lien, l'étrier tend à se dispo ser dans le plan général de celui-ci, caracté risée en ce que ladite fente présente des par ties de largeur différente en vue de coincer le lien sur une partie seulement de la largeur; tout en facilitant son introduction dans la fente.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemples, plusieurs formes- d'exécution de la boucle faisant l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en plan d'une pre mière forme d'exécution, dont la fig. 2 est une coupe par l'axe longitudinal du lien.

La boucle représentée dans les fig: 1 et 2 comprend un étrier 1 portant à l'extrémité de ses branches latérales une barrette 2 à la quelle est fixée à demeure l'extrémité 3 d'un lien plat flexible, par exemple d'un bracelet de montre, .en cuir ou autre matière similaire. Les branches latérales de.
l'étrier sont aussi reliées dans leur partie médiane par une bar rette transversale plate 4, venue d'une pièce avec l'étrier et délimitant entre elle et la barre 5, formant le sommet de l'étrier, une fente dans laquelle peut être introduite, de bas en haut, l'autre extrémité 6 du lien pour y être retenue par coincement lorsque, sous l'effet de la tension longitudinale du lien, l'étrier tend à se disposer dans le plan géné ral de celui-ci. Le bord 4' de la barrette étant oblique par rapport au bord 5' de la barre 5, la fente 6 va en s'élargissant d'un côté à l'autre de l'étrier,
ce qui permet de coincer le lien efficacement sur une partie de sa lar geur, tout en facilitant son introduction dans la fente. Le bord 4' de la barrette médiane 4 étant oblique, le brin 6 du lien tend à se placer de biais sur le brin 3. Pour remédier à cet inconvénient, les branches latérales de l'étrier sont relevées au-dessus du niveau de la barrette 4, de façon à servir de guides aux bords du brin 6 du lien dont l'extrémité s'en gage dans le coulant 7.
La forme d'exécution de la fig. 3 est une variante de la première dans laquelle la fente 6 délimitée par le bord 4' de la barrette mé diane fixe 4 et le bord 5' de la barre 5 de l'étrier est curviligne et va en s'élargissant ré gulièrement d'un côté à l'autre de l'étrier 1.
Le bord 4' de la barrette 4 peut suivre une ligne droite ou courbe, brisée ou non, ce qui permet de donner à la barrette 4 toutes les formes .de fantaisie que l'on désire. Il ,suf- fit qu'en un point au moins, ce bord soit assez rapproché du bord 5' de la barre 5 formant le sommet de l'étrier pour que le lien y soit coincé lorsqu'une traction longitudinale est exercée sur lui. .
Dans la forme d'exécution des fig. 4. et 5, la barrette transversale médiane 14, dont le bord 14' délimitant la fente 6 est oblique par' rapport au bord 5' de la barre 5 formant le sommet de l'étrier 1, n'est plus fige,
mais elle -est articulée à la barrette 2 et les bran çhes latérales de l'étrier 5 présentent un épaulement 8 qui limite son pivotement par rapport à cet étrier et l'empêche de s'abaisser au-dessous du niveau de .celui-ci lorsque le lien est tendu.
