Description
Ceintni e.
Belted. The object of the invention is a belt constituted by a band and by a watch interposed between the ends of the band.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the belt.
Figs. 1 and 2 are a perspective view and a partial plan.
The embodiment shown comprises a strip a, of leather, of fabric, for example. One of the ends, b, of the band a passes through a handle c of the barrel-shaped watch d and is folded back on itself to be held in place beyond the handle c by a press stud e . The other end, f, of this band a passes through a second handle, g, of the watch d, and is folded back on itself beyond this to form a closed loop da in which is housed a stirrup m tallique i whose two lateral branches carry a pivoting part j capable of wedging the strip a between it and the transverse branch of the stirrup i.
By lifting the jet piece while making the band a between it and the stirrup i neck smooth, the length of the belt can be adjusted as desired; when abandoned, it tightens a between the buckle and part j and thus maintains the belt at the desired length. To remove the belt, all you have to do is release the male part of the button e from the female part and pass the end b through the handle c.
If you want to read the time on watch d, you turn it a quarter of a turn upwards, twisting band a a little.
It emerges from the above description that the watch d is interposed between the two ends b and f of the belt.
The shape of the watch, the arrangement of its attachments to the band, the nature and position of the latter, the means for adjusting the length of the belt and for removing it may differ from those which have been used. dicated.
