4 et repliée selon les lignes I, I', II, II', III, III'.
Device for attaching the shoe to the ski. The present invention relates to devices used to attach the shoe to the ski, particularly to the fasteners constituted by an elastic cable closed on itself, which rests against the back of the heel of the shoe and is hooked to the ski on the sides and to the front of the shoe, the latter hooking to be used to tension the cable.
In the fasteners of this type currently in use, the means for adjusting the lateral fasteners and the anterior tensioning fastener offer no convenience, since one must, for this purpose, grasp the cable itself with the hand. to carry it from one enoche to another: in service, when the devices are filled and covered with snow and ice, these operations are long and very painful.
The present invention relates to a fastener of this type, in which, however, said inconvenience is entirely eliminated.
According to the present invention, the cable is hooked to the side attachments and to the front attachment in an indirect manner, through intermediate movable members, which can be grasped and moved more easily with the hand. than the cable itself.
On the sides these members can be constituted by sliders which can slide along the cable and provided with hooking means; at the front, these members can be constituted by a lever of the second kind, to which the cable is attached by means of an articulated traction arm and, which hooks to the ski by its movable fulcrum .
In the accompanying drawing, given by way of example: FIG. 1, 2, 3 respectively show a perspective view, an elevation view and a plan view of an example of anterior attachment according to the invention; Fig. 4 shows a detail of this example; Fig. 5, 6, 7 and 8 show in front view and in cross section two embodiments of side fasteners according to the invention; Fig. 9 and 10 show in front view two other examples of side fasteners according to the invention; In these figures, a is the cable.
It is elastic itself by its coil structure, or it is made elastic by springs la teral b, b or posterior b '.
The anterior attachment is made up (fig. 1 to 4): of a small frame 1, the fixed to the ski and provided with teeth, a tie rod 2, 2 'carrying the cable a hooked, and a lever 3, 3 ', on which the tie rod 2, 2' is articulated and which finds its fulcrum in the teeth of the frame 1, the.
The small frame is made up: by two side walls 1 -and l 'in which a toothing 5 and 5' is cut, by an upper wall 6 forming a bridge above the teeth, and by two walls 7 'and 7 "front ends with tails 8 'and 8" which are fixed to the ski by screws 9, 9. This frame can be obtained by stamping a plate, the latter being profiled as shown in FIG. 4 and folded along lines I, I ', II, II', III, III '.
The operating lever consists of two side walls 3, 3 ', a bottom wall 3 "ending in a tail 4, a transverse pin 10 - at the other end, engaging in the teeth of the frame and constituting the fulcrum of the lever, a pin 12 constituting the point of attachment and articulation of the tie rod 2, 2 '.
Finally, the tie has two lateral walls 2, 2 ', a bottom wall 2 "terminating in a hook 21 for attaching the cable, and finally a small articulated tongue 11, serving to retain the cable in the hook.
To adapt the appliance to the shoe, all you have to do is lift the lever to the position of fig. 2, then insert the pin 10 into the appropriate tooth, then fold the lever back to the position of fig. 1 and 3. Bridge 6 prevents the lever from abandoning the frame; the walls 3, 3 'of the lever, in collaboration with the walls 2, 2' of the tie rod, protect the frame laterally, so that the snow cannot enter the hollow thereof.
Each of the lateral attachments comprises, in all the examples shown (FIGS. 5 to 10), a member 15 mounted in the manner of a slider on the cable on each side of the ski. This member has for this purpose a tongue curved on itself around a cable and constituting an eyelet. It also has means for hooking onto the fixed part of the device.
In the case of fig. 5 and 6, the latter consists of hooks in the form of tongues 16, 16 ', 16 "belonging to a plate 17 fixed to the ski. The member 15 has a window which engages these hooks.
In the case of fig. 7 and 8 the plate 17 has its edges 20, 20 'folded over so as to form a channel 21, the upper edge' 20 'furthermore having notches 22, 22', 22 ". The member 15 is hooked. to these by an ankle 19 which ends in a head 23 preventing the ankle from leaving the channel 21. The anterior end of the edges 20, 20 'can be fusiform as indicated in broken lines at 18.
In the case of fig. 9, the member 15 has a tail 24 ending in a head 25, while the plate 17 is curved only along its upper edge 26, the latter having for hooking interrupts 27, 27 '. , 27 ".
In the example of fig. 10, the member 15 is articulated at the end of an arm 28 which, in turn, is articulated by its other end on the plate 17. The arm 28 can be fixed in two diametrically opposed positions using pegs 29 and 29 'respectively engaging the notches 30 and 30'.
It is easy to realize that indeed the presence of the member 15 makes the adjustment very easy without any fatigue for the cable.
When the part of the cable which rests on the heel is not a spring b ', it is constituted by a strap 13. The tightening is then made using a lever buckle 14.
