Description

The subject of the invention is a closure device and shoe or fastening strap board sports equipment, including a stirrup secured to part of the shoe or fastening and a toothed belt sawtooth or wolf over part of its length over at least one of its faces and one end of which is intended to be attached to another part of the shoe or fixing, the stirrup carrying a lever of the second kind articulated on the caliper and a non-return pawl engaged in a toothing of the belt and provided with means manual actuation for the release of the belt, the lever being provided with a member belt drive, hinged on the lever and engaging in the teeth when the lever is moved from its rest position in the opposite direction to the attached end of the strap, so that drive the belt, and spacing means the drive member of the toothing of the belt in the lever rest position, so that the strap can slide freely when an action on the non-return pawl releases the belt.

Such a device is known from the patent application JP 09094317. This device has the advantage of large amplitude of movement of the belt by a only pull on the clamping lever, unlike to clamping devices requiring a movement of back and forth of the drive lever as it is found, for example, in the device described in the US Patent 5,416,952. The belt drive is made by bracing of the drive piece and thrust on the teeth. This push has the effect of flex the belt until it finds support on the stirrup base, then on the shoe itself. During this flexion the arm may accidentally escape from the toothing of the belt.

From US patent 5,779,259, there is known a device for analogous design, but in which the arm drive is significantly shorter and articulated on the lever at a point substantially closer to its axis of articulation on one end of the stirrup. The tightening operation does not necessarily require a repeated movement of the lever back and forth but the amplitude of tightening is nevertheless relatively weak and at least a back and forth movement of the lever is necessary to drive the belt and, given the way the lever should be lifted from its rest position, driving the belt is made by pushing on the lever, which is less convenient than a pulling movement. In addition, if optimal tightening is achieved before the lever either folded back into the rest position, it is necessary, to reach this resting position, release the belt by action on the retaining pawl and to repeat the tightening operation.

The invention aims to overcome the drawbacks prior art devices and more precisely to realize a 'clamping device by traction on the clamping lever with a large tightening amplitude and good belt support in his training area.

The closing and tightening device according to the invention is characterized in that the belt passes under the stirrup, in that the cooperating toothing with the drive lever is located on the face lower of the belt and in that the organ drive is a traction device.

The traction unit always remains perfectly in caught in the toothing of the belt, which is in support against the stirrup where the traction, throughout the movement of the belt. In addition, the lever can still be folded down rest position.

The means of separation of the drive member from the toothing of the belt in the rest position can simply consist of means for guiding this drive member ensuring its separation from the toothing when the lever reaches its position of rest.

According to one embodiment, the guide means consist of a pair of lateral grooves, one of which end is bent. This groove can ensure the guiding the drive member on all its displacement so as to ensure its engagement in the teeth of the belt. Alternatively, this engagement can be ensured by a horn spring flush mounted around the articulation of the organ drive on the lever.

Modes of execution will be defined in the dependent claims.

Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemples, trois modes d'exécution de l'invention. The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, three modes of carrying out the invention.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a first mode of execution in a position close to the rest position.

Figure 2 is a side view of the device according to the Figure 1, in the same position.

Figure 3 shows the same device in position rest, lever fully folded down.

Figure 4 is a perspective view of a second mode of execution, in a position close to the rest position.

Figure 6 is a perspective view of a third mode of execution, in a position close to the rest position.

Figure 7 is a detail view showing the means actuation of the third non-return pawl mode of execution.

The device shown in Figures 1 to 3 includes basically a stirrup 1 came from a room with a base 2 forming a U-shaped channel and provided with two side tabs such as tab 3 for fixing from the base to a shoe or binding part. For this purpose the legs are provided with holes 4. On the stirrup 1 is articulated a lever of the second kind 5 around an axis 6. The lever 5 has a cutout 7 near axis 6, cut in which is accommodated a small auxiliary lever 8 also articulated around axis 6.

The device further comprises a belt 9, of preferably in semi-rigid plastic, having on its underside, that is to say in look of the shoe, teeth 10 teeth saw or wolf, that is, teeth oriented towards the right in the drawing. The belt 9 passes in the base 2 which forms a guide channel for the belt.

At an intermediate point 11 of the lever 5 is articulated a rectangular loop 12 around the joint which is fitted with a hunting horn spring (not visible in the drawing) which tends to fold the loop 12 against lever 5. The diameter of the wire constituting the loop 12 and the profile of the teeth are such that the loop optimally engages in the toothing of the belt. On the vertical sides of the base 2 are formed grooves 13 extending parallel to the base and wider than the sum of the height of the teeth and the diameter of the wire constituting loop 12 in such a way that this loop can move along the grooves in jumping over the teeth 10. The ends 13a, opposite the stirrup 1, grooves 13 are slightly curved towards the legs 3, so only when loop 12 is at the end of grooves 13, it is spaced from the teeth 10, so to allow the belt 9 to move without being retained by the loop 12.

On the stirrup 1, is also articulated a pawl 14 also made up of a rectangular loop whose the ends located inside the stirrup 1 are bent so as to form two parallel arms 15 and 16 on which lever 8 is supported by an eccentric part forming a cam, so that pressing the lever 8 has the effect of pivot the pawl 14 and release it from the teeth 10 in which he is engaged at rest under the effect a spring not shown, for example a spring in hunting horn mounted around its articulation on stirrup.

At rest, the lever 5 is completely folded down the base 2 and the loop 12 is in the position shown in Figure 3, disengaged from the teeth. The pawl 14 is engaged in this toothing. To tend the belt, pull the lever 5 in the direction indicated by the arrow F. The loop 12 immediately engages in the teeth 10. Loop 12 can move to the next end of the grooves 13, which allows by a single movement of moving belt 9 a distance important. This distance could also be lengthened by lengthening the base 2. During this movement the pawl 14 jumps over the teeth 10, but retains the strap as soon as you release the lever 5. The lever 5 is then folded back in its rest position shown in Figure 3. In this position the belt 9 can be released by a simple press on the auxiliary lever 8 which releases the pawl 14 of the teeth 10. The shape of the part eccentric of the auxiliary lever 8 can be such that an action on the pawl 14 can be obtained either by pressing lever 8 either by pulling on this lever.

In the embodiment shown in Figures 4 and 5, the loop 12 is replaced by a tie rod 17 articulated in a cutout of lever 5 around an axis 19. This tie 17 crosses the belt by a cutout axial 20 therein and the end of the tie rod 15 is provided with a transverse bar 21 coming engage in the two teeth 10a and 10b resulting cutting the belt. For the rest this mode of execution is identical to the first mode of execution.

Une traction sur le levier 25 dans le sens indiqué par la flèche F a donc pour effet de dégager le cliquet 23 de la denture et de libérer ainsi la courroie 9.The embodiment shown in Figures 6 and 7 differs from the previous embodiment in that the belt 9 has a second toothing wolf 22 on its upper side and in that the stirrup carries a non-return ratchet 23 of plus shape conventional cooperating with the toothing 22. The shapes of this ratchet 23 and its lever 25 are shown in Figure 7. The ratchet 23 is articulated on the caliper 1 around an axis 26 and it is provided with an arm 27 on which comes lean on a shoulder 28 of the auxiliary lever 25. Pull on lever 25 in the direction indicated by the arrow F therefore has the effect of releasing the pawl 23 teeth and free the belt 9.

The retaining teeth 22 can be substantially more fine than the drive teeth 10. Therefore this execution mode allows you to make a more end of tightening.

In a simplified version, the non-return pawl and its actuation means can be in one room.

It should be noted that the stirrup can be made by molding at the same time as the shoe part or of the attachment to which it is integral.

The belt may have marks cooperating with an index linked to a fixed part such as the stirrup for indicate a tightening value.

The belt may still have a stop at the level of its free end preventing it from leaving the base.
