- Closing and tightening device for sporting shoes, especially ski boots, comprising a base plate (1), a tightening lever (6) articulated on said base plate and having a lengthwise cut-out (7) wherein a tension rod (8) is engaged that is articulated at an intermediate point on the tightening lever, a first catching element (11) disposed at one extremity of the tension rod and a second catching element (13) provided for capturing the first catching element for closing and tightening the shoe, characterised in that the device further comprises a spring means (15) resting on the tightening lever, on one side, and on the tension rod (8), on the other side, and having the tendency of maintaining the tension rod in an oblique position and separated from the second catching element.
