Selbsttränkeeinrichtung für Kälber.
Bekannte SelbsttrÏnkeeinrichtungen haben den Nachteil, da¯ das TrÏnkgefϯ vom Kalb leicht umgeworfen, oder, falls dieses aufgehÏngt ist, von der Aufhängestelle abgeworfen werden kann. Die meisten TrÏnkgefϯe sind ferner infolge ungeeigneter Anordnung des Saugrohres nicht leicht zu reinigen.
Diese Nachteile können durch die vorliegende Erfindung bei geeigneter Ausbildung beseitigt werden.
Die Selbsttränkeeinrichtung gemäss der Erfindung weist zu diesem Zweck ein zum Aufhängen ausserhalb des Kälberstandes be stimmtes Selbsttränkgefäss mit einem an der Aufhängeseite angeordneten Saugorgan und einem an der Innenwand des Gefässes anliegenden Saugrohr auf, wobei in der Wand des Kälberstandes eine Öffnung für den Durchgang des Saugorganes vorgesehen ist, welche Íffnung so bemessen ist, dass sie zugleich für die Maulpartie des Kalbes einen begrenzten Zugang zum Saugorgan bildet, welcher unnötige Bewegungen, welche das trinkende Kalb mit dem Kopfe ausf hren m¯chte, verhindert.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstan- des dargestellt, und zwar zeigt :

Die dargestellte Selbsttränkeeinrichtung für Kälber weist ein Tränkgefäss 1 auf, welches einen halbkreisförmigen Grundriss aus- weist, wobei der Gefässmantel aus einer flachen Gefässwand 1'und einer halbzylindrisch gewölbten Wand 1"besteht. Der Boden 2'des Gefäss'es besitzt annähernd die Form einer Halbkreisfläche und weist seinen tiefsten Punkt in der Mitte der Unterkante der flachen Wand 1' auf. Das Gefäss'ist oben mit einer Randumbordelung 3'und unten mit einem Verstärkungsrand 4 versehen. An der flachen Wand 1'des Gefässes sind im Abstand voneinander zwei AufhÏngehaken 5 an geordnet.
Dicht am obern Rand des Gefässes ist in der Vertikalmittellinie der flachen Gefässwand ein Saugstutzen 6 angeordnet, wel- eher vorne mit einem Randwulst versehen ist., Auf diesen Saugstutzen ist eine als Saugorgan dienende Gummizitze 7 abnehmbar aufgesteekt. 8 ist ein an zwei Ösen 9 des zylindrisch gebogenen Wandteils 1" angelenkter Tragb gel. An der Innenseite der flachen Gefϯwand 1' ist lÏngs ihrer Vertikalmittel- linie ein bis nahe an den Boden reichendes Saugrohr 10 angeordnet und'seiner ganzen LÏnge nach mit der Gefϯwand gut verl¯tet, so da¯ die Fugen zwischen Rohr und Wand ausgefüllt sind. Auf dem Oberende des Saugrohres ist ein Anschlussteil 11 aufgesteckt und mit dem Saugrohr und der Gefϯwand ver lötet.
Die mit dem Saugrohrkanal verbundene Axialbohrung des Ansehlussteils 11 ist von oben her durch ! eine leicht losbare Schraube 12 abgeschlossen. Der Saugstutzen 6 ist mit der Bohrung des Anschlu¯teils 11 und durch diese mit dem Saugrohr 110l ! verbunden.
13 sind in gleichmϯigen AbstÏndon an der Innenwand des Gefϯes 1 angeordnete Messingkn¯pfe, welche eine die Literzahl angebende Messskala bilden, wobei das Niveau für 5 und 10 Liter. durch je zwei Enöpfe 13a bzw. 13b kenntlich gemacht ist.
Der Selbstbränkekessel ist-mittels der Haken 5 an der Aussenseite eines KÏlberstandes 14 an eine zu diesem Zweck daselbst befestigte Leiste 15 anhängbar. In der Latten wand. des Eälberstandes ist eine Öffnung 1'6 vorgesehen,. durch welche hindurch die Zitze 7 in den KÏlberstand hineinragt. Die Íffnung 16 ist-so gross, dass die Maulpartie gerade so viel Platz hat, um die Zitze in ihrer ganzen Lange erfassen zu können, dass jedoch unnötige Bewegungen des Kopfes beim Trinken verhindert werden.
Die Umgrenzung des an die Zitz gelegten Mauls durch die Íff nung verhindert somit aùch das Heben des Gefässes beim Trinken, da die in die Öffnung 16 gesteckte Maulpartie. des Kalbes lediglich die zum Trinken notwendige Bewegungsfreiheit hat. Bei einem Versuch des galbes, die sonst gewohnten ruckartigen Bewegungen beim m Trinken auszuf hren, st¯¯t es mit der Maulpartie gegen den Ra. d der Íffnung.
Durez den gegen. die Mündung. des Saug- rohres 11 zu koniseh vertieften Boden wird ermöglicht, dass. das Ealb die zum Trinken bereitgestellte Milch bis auf einen unbedeu- tenden Rest austrinken kann. Das Saugrohr ist zur Ermöglichung einer unbehinderten Reinigung ganz an. die Gefässwand anliegend angeordnet. Durch L¯sen und Abnehmen der Schraube-12 ist auch. der Kanal des Saugrohres zwecks Reinigung von oben her zu gänglich.
