Die Ringsysteme der in Frage kommen den Carbonsäuren sind meistens solche der aromatischen Reihe, doch können daneben auch Verbindungen mit ganz oder teilweise gesättigten Ringen verwendet werden. p- Aminobenzolsnlfonacylamide dieser Art sind bis heute nicht bekannt geworden;

Process for the preparation of a p-amino-benzenesulfonacylamide. In the 119, up-Epatent a process for the preparation of p-amino = benzenesulfonarcylamides is described, consisting in that sulfonamides of the benzene series or their salts, which contain a nitrogen-containing group in the p-position.,
with alkyl and bezw. or alkoxy-substituted carboxylic acids of the benzene series respectively. their functional derivatives, optionally in the presence of catalysts or acid-binding agents,
converts and optionally converts the p nitrogen group into an amino group. As indicated in the additional patent number 234974, the analogous alkylthiocarboxylic acids of the benzene series can also be used for the acylation instead of the alkoxysubstituted carbonic acids of the benzene series.
In a further additional patent no. 244991 who proposes corresponding higher homologs in place of the nuclear methylated carboxylic acids of the benzene series.
In the main patent and in the additional patents mentioned, only connec tions with aromatic carboxylic acids of the benzene series are given. It has now been found that analogous compounds with corresponding carboxylic acids which contain condensed nuclei, welohe optionally. I wear indifferent substituents, also excellent for the same purposes: are suitable.
The ring systems of the carboxylic acids in question are mostly those of the aromatic series, but compounds with completely or partially saturated rings can also be used. p-aminobenzenesilphonacylamides of this type have not become known to date;
they differ from other aeylated p-aminobenzenesulfonamides by their superior effectiveness against infectious agents.
The starting materials mentioned in the main patent are suitable as sulfonamides of the benzene series, which contain a nitrogen-containing group in the p-position to the sulfonamino group.
As carboxylic acids with condensed cores, which may contain indifferent substituents, are z. B. suitable: 1-naphthoic acid:
5-methoxy-l-naphthoic acid, 5-ethoxy-? naphthoic acid, 5-allyloxy- or 5-propyloxy- or 5-butyloxy-1-naphthoic acid, 5-thiomethyl-1-naphthoic acid, 5-thioethyl-1-naphthoic acid, 5-tropyl-1, -naphthoic acid , 2-naphthoic acid:
