Removable construction. The object of the present invention is a removable construction, for example a po dium, a hut, a small house, etc. This construction is characterized by frames assembled by means of clamping flanges blocked by at least one key and at least one wedge.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the construction forming the subject of the invention and of the details.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of a frame.
Fig. 2 is a side view of this frame.
Fig. 3 shows in perspective a detail of the assembly of two frames together.
Fig. 4 shows the eccentric key that clamping the îig. 3, end view, on a larger scale.
The, fig. 5 is a section along V-V of FIG. 4.
Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the detail of a corner of a frame braced by a diagonal tensioner.
Figs. 7 to 10 show in perspective variants of assembly flanges.
Fig. 11 shows a variant of angle assembly for the frames forming an angle between them.
Fig. 12 shows part of a po dium built using a frame according to fig. 1. FIG. 13 is a cross section of a removable frame for barracks.
The embodiments of the construction according to the invention, shown in FIGS. 12 and 13 comprise frames in the form of rectangular frames similar to the frame 1 shown in FIG. 1.
The members of these frames have notches 2 on their perimeter and mortises 3 on their spacers, to give passage to assembly flanges 4. In their simplest form, these flanges are constituted by a flat iron folded into U and having towards the end of the two branches at least one hole for the passage of a closing key 5.
In fig. 3 to 5, the flange is provided with an eccentric key having a grooved drum 5a intended to cooperate with at least one wedge or a wooden blocking wedge. 6 coming wedged between the key and the member of the frame to be assembled with an adjacent frame.
The eccentric key also has two grooves 5b so that it cannot come out of its housing in the flange, when it is tightened. One of the ends of the key has a hexagonal head 5c facilitating the release of the key and therefore also of the wedge 6.
Some frames are braced di to points by one. diagonal tensioner 7 connected to the corners .du chassis by two hooks 8 at right angles passing through a passage provided for this purpose in the members of the chassis.
The assembly flanges may also be formed of two flat bars connected to one another at one end by a key 9 also formed from a flat iron and the two ends of which are bent at the square, as shown in fig. 9. One of the branches of the flange can also be mounted with a hinge 10, as shown in FIG. 8. Finally, we can also provide flanges folded in a rounded U, as in fig. 10, with a wooden block 11 of semi-cylindrical shape, nailed to the bottom of the flange.
For the corner assembly of the frames forming an angle between them, it is also possible to use intermediate posts 12 flanged simultaneously on each of the two frames, as shown in FIG. 11. In this fi gure, the two frames form a right angle and the post has a square section. The frames of the open-air theater podium according to fig. 12 are assembled in this way. Fig. 13 shows the cross section of a frame for barracks in which the frames are assembled at di verse angles by means of posts 13 of suitable cross section, which may also have notches for the passage of the flanges. As a variant, tightened flanges can be provided by means of two wedges driven in opposite directions from one another.
The key can be a simple iron pin or bolt.
The frames could also be made of light metal and the flanges of stainless steel.
