Description
Lighting device. The present invention relates to a lighting device: ge, which is characterized in that it: comprises an envelope having an opening and, in this envelope, at least one light source and mobile means capable of occupying several positions. tions in each of which they determine the emission through the aforementioned opening of light of a certain color different from one position to another of these means.
The appended drawing represents, by way of examples, two forms: execution of the positive device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a view: from the front, partly in: section, of the first embodiment.
Fig. 2 is a horizontal sectional view corresponding to FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a view similar to FIG. ?, but relating to the second embodiment. The device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 rst intended, for example, for the lighting of an object, 4 'a decoration, a wall, a sculpted motif or a bas-re @ lie ±, represented diagrammatically in 1. The device comprises a casing 2, of cylindrical shape, having an opening. longitudinal 3.
The positive dis: further comprises: in this casing, a quminous source 4 shown here in the form of a lumi nous discharge tube, extending axially inside the casing 2, approximately over the whole length of it.
This is a source of white light. The device comprises incors, also inside the casing 2, a series of transparent screens 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, arranged side by side to form a seemingly concentric cylinder with the casing 2. Each of the parts 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 extends over almost the entire interior height of the casing 2 and, in . the peripheral direction, on an angle of 60. These, six parts are six different colors.
These six parts 5 to 10 are carried by a support 1'1 pivoting at 12 in the base of the envelope 2. This support 11: is integral with a toothed wheel 18, driven by a motor not shown, by the 'intermediary of a pi gnon 14.
The opening to extends in the peripherical direction on a monk angle of 6-0 and it is arranged so that the light emanating from the source 4 and passing through this opening arrives on the object 1. On immediately sees that during & - the rotation of the toothed wheel 113, the different colored transparent parts 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 pass successively opposite the opening 3 and are successively crossed by the rays emanating from the source 4 and arriving on the object 1.
Object 1 will therefore be illuminated successively by lights of different colors. It is thus possible to obtain, depending on the nature of the object 1, artistic effects which are quite pleasing to the eye.
In the case;, of FIG. 31, the device com door, as in the first case, an envelope 2, having the same shape as in the example described above. The object l; plays the same groan as in the first example. Inside the envelope 2 is arranged a rotating support 15, mounted to rotate around the geometric axis @of the envelope 2.
This support carries four light sources 116, 17, 1-8, 19 each extending in a direction parallel to the axis of the envelope 2 and which are equidistant from the -geometric axis of this envelope, as seen on fig. 3.
The -four sources 1,6, 17, 18, 19 each give light of a different color and means are provided by which only that of these four sources -which is located opposite the opening 3 is connected to a current source, so that only this source (ie 19, for the position shown in the drawing) is used to illuminate the screen.
The support 15 can either be driven continuously, as indicated in the following example fig. 1 and 2, for the support 11, -or be controlled 1-a hand, to ame ner at will in front of the opening 3 lu source giving the desired color light. To increase the intensity of the light projected onto the object 1, provision will advantageously be made for the interior surface of the envelope 2 to be reflective.
