Description

       

      Dispositif        lumineux.            Cette    invention a pour objet un dispositif       lumineux.     



  Selon l'invention, ce dispositif est caracté  risé par au moins une plaque de verre péné  trant par au moins un- de ses bords dans un  boîtier opaque à éclairage intérieur et munie  sur au moins un de ses bords visibles d'un  chanfrein dépoli.  



       Le    dispositif selon l'invention est destiné  à être appliqué dans le domaine de la réclame,  de la     .décoration        des        immeubles    ou de la si  gnalisation, par exemple.  



  Le dessin schématique     annexé    représente  trois formes     d'exécution    de     l'invention,    don  nées à titre d'exemple.

  Dans la forme d'exécution des     fig.    3 et 4,  la plaque de verre a est     annulaire    et     pénètre     par son bord intérieur dans le boîtier opaque  b dans lequel est disposée l'ampoule électrique  c qui s'engage dans l'ouverture     centrale    e de  .la plaque.     Cette    ampoule distribue la lu  mière dans toute la plaque, dont     les    bords     ex-          térieurs    d sont     chanfreinés    sur     tout    le pour  tour de la plaque, le     chanfrein    étant dépoli.

    Dans     cette    forme d'exécution, la plaque pour  rait être montée de façon à     tourner    par rap  port au boîtier autour de l'axe de     l'ouv'er-          ture    e.  



  Le dispositif     représenté    aux     fig.    5 et 6       comporte    trois plaques de verre a, de     hauteurs         différentes appliquées l'une sur l'autre et pé  nétrant par leurs bords supérieurs dans le  boîtier opaque b éclairé à l'intérieur par les  lampes électriques c. Les bords inférieurs de  ces plaques sont façonnés différemment et  sont munis de chanfreins dépolis d. C'est. ainsi  que les bords inférieurs de deux des plaques a  sont ondulés et celui de la troisième plaque  a taillé en ligne     brisée.     



  Dans le but de produire des effets lumi  neux donnant l'impression d'être animés, les  différentes plaques de ce dernier     dispositif     pourraient aussi, au lieu d'être éclairées par  une source de lumière commune, être éclairées  chacune séparément. Cette disposition per  mettra de les soumettre, une à une, à. un éclai  rage     successif    correspondant aux phases suc  cessives du mouvement à produire.

  In the embodiment of FIGS. 3 and 4, the glass plate a is annular and penetrates through its inner edge into the opaque casing b in which the electric bulb c is arranged which engages in the central opening e of the plate. This bulb distributes the light throughout the plate, the outer edges of which are chamfered all around the plate, the chamfer being ground.

    In this embodiment, the plate could be mounted so as to rotate relative to the housing about the axis of the opening e.



  The device shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 comprises three glass plates a, of different heights applied one on top of the other and penetrating by their upper edges into the opaque housing b illuminated inside by the electric lamps c. The lower edges of these plates are shaped differently and have frosted chamfers d. This is. as well as the lower edges of two of the plates a are corrugated and that of the third plate a cut in a broken line.



  In order to produce light effects giving the impression of being animated, the various plates of the latter device could also, instead of being illuminated by a common light source, each be illuminated separately. This will allow them to be submitted, one by one, to. a successive lighting corresponding to the successive phases of the movement to be produced.
