Fig. 1 zeigt eine Ansicht.
Measuring device.
The present invention relates to a measuring device which can be used for measuring depths.
The measuring device is characterized in that a spring-loaded measuring pin is axially adjustable in a housing and held in its respective position by a locking device, the whole thing in such a way that the distance between the housing base and the lower end of the pin is in a window arranged in the housing can be read.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a view.
Fig. 2 is an axial section along the line 11-11 of Fig. 1 on a larger scale.
FIG. 3 is a view of the device rotated 1800 with respect to FIG.
FIG. 4 is a section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 2.
In a tubular housing 1 is; a measuring cylinder 2 is mounted so as to be axially displaceable. The latter has a measuring bolt 3 which penetrates the base 4 of the housing 1. The upper end of the housing 1 is closed with a threaded bolt 5 which carries a guide pin 6. A compression spring 7 is arranged inside the cylinder 2, which is supported at one end on the bolt 5 and at the other end on the cylinder base 8 and is tensioned in the state shown.
In the housing 1, a window 9 and a slot 10 are attached, the latter being V-shaped (Fig. 3). This creates a resilient tongue 11 formed from the housing wall, on which a handle 12 is attached. A pin 13 fastened in the tongue 11 protrudes into a longitudinal slot 14 of the cylinder 2, which is therefore not rotatable. In the window 9 of the housing 1, a scale 16 (for example with millimeters or inches) is visible, which is applied to the cylinder 2.
During manufacture, the tongue 11 is pressed inward by a few tenths of a millimeter so that it always exerts such a pressure on the cylinder 2 that the tensioned spring 7 cannot move the latter.
The measurement of depressions 18 takes place in the manner shown in FIG. 1. The device is placed with its bottom 4 perpendicular to the surface 19 and the handle 12 is pressed inwards at its outer end (arrow in FIG. 2). As a result, the tongue 11 is raised; the clamping effect on the cylinder 2 is removed and the spring 7 moves the latter downwards, the lower end of the measuring pin 3 reaching the bottom of the bore 18. The handle 12 is then released, with the result that the cylinder 2 is held in its respective position by the tongue. The depth a of the bore 18 can be read off the scale 16 visible in the window 9 at the mark 17. To read off the hole depth a, the measuring device can be removed from the hole 18,
