L'objet de la présente invention est un appareil de cuisson électrique, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend au moins une plaque chauffante montée concentriquement <B>à</B> une enveloppe annulaire conductrice de la cha leur et extérieurement isolée, la plaque s'abaissant automatiquement vers le bas<B>de</B> cette enveloppe sous le poids d'un récipient posé sur la plaque.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente,<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, -une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.

L'appareil de cuisson électrique repré senté comprend un socle<B>1</B> supportant un car ter métallique 2 dans la surface supérieure duquel sont ménagées deux ouvertures cir culaires.
