Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines chromierbaren Honoazofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man wertvolle chromierbare Monoazofarbstoffe erhält, wenn man 1-Ogynaphthaline, die in 4-Stellung durch Alkylreste substituiert sind, mit sul- fongruppenhaltigen o-Oxydiazoverbindungen vereinigt.
Die neuen Farbstoffe sind vor allem für die Wollechtfärberei von Interesse, indem sie durch Nadhchromieren auf der Faser oder auch durch Färben in Gegenwart von Chrom beizen zu Färbungen führen können, die neben einer hervorragenden Lichtechtheit ausgezeichnete Nassechtheiten besitzen.
Durch Behandeln der neuen Farbstoffe in Substanz mit metallabgebenden, vor allem chromabgebenden Mitteln, erhält man saure Farbstoffe, die sich zum Färben der tieri schen Faser bezw. von Fasern, die Affinität zu .sauren Farbstoffen besitzen, eignen.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines chro- mierbaren Monoazofarbstoffes, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass 4-Butyl-l-ofynaphthalin in alkalischer Lösung mit der Diazoverbindung aus 1-Ogy-2*-amino-4-nitrobenzol-6-Gulfon- säure vereinigt wird.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit violetter Farbe löst, und färbt Wolle sowohl nach dem Nachchromierungsverfahren ale auch beim Chromieren während des Färbens in grün stickigen O@livtönen. Beispiel:
20 Teile 4-Butyl-l-ogynaphthalinwerden in 75 Teilen Wasser und 15 Vol.-Teilen 30 % iger Natronlauge zu einer klaren Lösung gelöst, mit 18 Teilen Natriumcarbonat versetzt und mit der auf übliche weise hergestellten Diazolösung aus 23,4 Teilen 1-Ogy-2-amino- 4-nitrobenzol-6-sulfonsäure vereinigt.
Die Kupplung findet augenblicklich statt; man lässt 6 Stunden nachrühren und nutscht hier- auf den ausgeschiedenen Farbstoff ab. Zwecks Reinigung wird er nochmals in Was ser aufgenommen, gleichmässig verrührt und abgenutscht. Hierauf wird er getrocknet.
Der Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar, das .sich in Wasser mit violetter Farbe auflöst und Wolle sowohl nach dem. Nachchromie- rungsverfahren als auch beim Chromieren während des Färbens in grünstickigen Oliv tönen färbt. Die erhaltenen Färbungen zeich- n en sich durch sehr gute Nassechtheiten und besonders durch gute Lichtechtheit aus.

The new dyes are of particular interest for wool dyeing in that they can lead to dyeings by needle-chromium plating on the fiber or by dyeing in the presence of chromium staining which, in addition to excellent lightfastness, have excellent wet fastness properties.
By treating the new dyes in substance with metal donating, especially chromium donating agents, acidic dyes are obtained, which BEZW for coloring the animal's fiber. of fibers that have an affinity for acidic dyes.
The present patent relates to a process for the production of a chromable monoazo dye, characterized in that 4-butyl-1-ofynaphthalene in alkaline solution with the diazo compound from 1-Ogy-2 * -amino-4-nitrobenzene-6-gulfon - Acid is combined.
The new dye forms a dark powder that dissolves in water with a violet color, and dyes wool in green, stuffy o @ liv tones both after the post-chrome plating process and during the chrome plating process. Example:
20 parts of 4-butyl-l-ogynaphthalene are dissolved in 75 parts of water and 15 parts by volume of 30% strength sodium hydroxide solution to form a clear solution, 18 parts of sodium carbonate are added and the conventionally prepared diazo solution of 23.4 parts of 1-ogy is added -2-amino-4-nitrobenzene-6-sulfonic acid combined.
The coupling takes place instantly; the mixture is left to stir for 6 hours and the dyestuff which has separated out is filtered off with suction. To clean it, it is taken up again in water, stirred evenly and suction filtered. Then it is dried.
The dye is a dark powder that dissolves in water with a purple color and wool both after the. After chrome plating process as well as chrome plating during dyeing, it dyes in greenish olive tones. The dyeings obtained are distinguished by very good wet fastness properties and particularly good light fastness.
