Jarretelle pour chaussettes. Les jarretelles utilisées jusqu'ici pour maintenir des chaussettes se composent d'un élément entourant la jambe au-dessus du mollet et supportant un crochet qui, dirigé vers le pied, sert à saisir la chaussette et à, l'empêcher de s'affaisser.
Outre que selon la conformation propre de la jambe, ces jarretelles glissent fort sou vent par suite de la constante déformation à laquelle les muscles jumaux sont soumis en cours de marche, le serrage qu'elles exercent autour de la jambe est particulièrement dés agréable en un tel endroit, relativement bien en chair et parsemé de vaisseaux sanguins se laissant facilement comprimer de l'extérieur: Pour éviter cela, il a déjà été proposé de munir les chaussettes elles-mêmes de tiges, leur conférant une rigidité propre à assurer leur soutien indépendamment de tout organe de suspension.
Cette solution n'est toutefois guère avan tageuse. Elle oblige tout d'abord à prévoir des moyens de fixation tels que des pièces d'étoffe cousues<B>à</B>la chaussette ou des poches tricotées dans ces dernières, etc., s'opposant à l'emploi de chaussettes non préalablement préparées. Au surplus, une bonne assise n'est assurée que si la tige prend pratiquement appui sur la semelle de la chaussure et des cend par conséquent à côté du pied, au voisi nage du talon, en un endroit gênant.
La présente invention a pour but de sup primer ces inconvénients, en prévoyant une jarretelle se fixant en un endroit jusqu'ici inusité.
Pour y parvenir, la jarretelle selon l'in vention comporte une attache susceptible d'entourer la cheville et servant de soutien à une tige s'étendant en direction du genou et se terminant par un moyen de fixation du bord libre d'une chaussette.
Le dessin annexé montre une forme d'exé cution de l'objet de l'invention, donnée à titre d'exemple.
La fig. 1 représente la jarretelle en pers pective.
La fig. 2 représente une jambe habillée, dont la chaussette est soutenue par la jarre telle de la fig. 1.
La jarretelle représentée se compose d'un ruban élastique 1 formant une attache de grandeur réglable, grâce à une boucle 2. Ce ruban traverse un ceillet plat 3 en fil métallique, se continuant par une tige 4, dont l'extrémité libre, opposée au ruban, porte une pince 5.
Pour soutenir une chaussette 6 au moyen de cette jarretelle, on place le ruban 1 autour de la cheville, en l'. La tige 4 s'élève alors le long de la jambe, en 4'. Le tout étant re couvert de la chaussette 6, le crochet 5 venant se placer au-dessus du bord libre de cette dernière permettra de la saisir et de la main tenir.
L'ensemble se trouvant sous la chaussette est invisible à l'exception du crochet 5, le haut de la jambe 7 étant entièrement libre.
L'expérience a démontré que la cheville n'est nullement incommodée de la présence du ruban qui, au surplus, ne peut en aucun cas glisser vers le bas, puisqu'à la cheville succède le pied.
En faisant la tige 4 suffisamment souple, la présence de cette dernière finit par passer absolument inaperçue de l'usager.
Au lieu d'un fil, on pourrait prendre une baleine, un morceau de ruban métallique, de la fibre, etc.
La boucle 3, dans le cas d'un organe plat, pourrait être remplacée par une simple fente de ce dernier, la liaison entre ruban et tige pouvant aussi être fixe, par exemple au moyen d'un rivet, ou au contraire amovible.
Le crochet 5 peut, bien entendu, être d'un type quelconque s'adaptant à établir une liai son entre la tige et le bord de la chaussette. Il pourrait être de position réglable en hau teur sur la tige, de manière à s'adapter à des chaussettes de différente longueur ou encore être relié à la tige par un organe élastique, l'obligeant à exercer une certaine tension sur la chaussette.
Le ruban 1 pourrait enfin former un an neau de grandeur déterminée, non réglable, ou encore être ouvert, avec un crochet per- mettant de l'attacher autour de la cheville.
Ce dernier crochet de fermeture du ruban pourrait comporter des moyens servant à maintenir amoviblement la tige, par exemple une lame plate s'introduisant dans ledit cro chet de haut en bas en position d'utilisation.
