Geht man also davon aus, dass die beiden Schliesshebel sich in der Schliesslage befinden, und öffnet sodann den Schliessliebel 54, so wird die Hülse 94 mit ihrem Anschlag96 an der Aussenseite des Nabenteils 34 anliegen, öffnet man weiterhin den Schliesshebel 64 (die Sehliesshebel in die- ser Reihenfolge anzuwenden ist jedoch, wie erwähnt, sinnlos),so entsteht ein "SpieP, das doppelt so gross ist wie das durch den Schliess hebel 54 entstandene, also8 mm;
Seating and reclining furniture. The invention relates to a seating and reclining furniture z. B. can be used as a chair, bed, stretcher, which is provided with at least two spaced voneinauder joints for mutually drelibare parts bil Denden groups of hub members.
At least two of the hub links in each group can be released from a coupling position on the one hand and can be coupled against each other against rotation on the other hand, while others can be coupled against each other by means of a common actuator acting on the hub links in the axial direction and with the aid of closing elements running between the two joint groups Hub members belonging to the same groups continue to remain in the coupling position.
The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the exemplary Ausfüh shown in the drawing approximately forms of furniture.
In FIGS. 1 and 2, a frame is shown in a first exemplary embodiment in the form of a collapsible chair, viewed from the side and in a top view.
In Fig. 3, the same frame is shown in a collapsed position.
Fig. 4 is a section along line IV-IV of Fi.g. 2 on a larger scale.
FIG. 5 shows a detail of FIG. 4 in the same section, but on a much larger scale, and FIG. 6 shows partly a view and partly a section along line VI-VI of FIG Fig. 5. The Figs. 7 and 8 are sections along the lines VII-VII and FIG. VHI-VIII of FIG. 4.
FIGS. 9 and 10 show two further embodiments of the invention more or less schematically.
FIG. 11 is a section corresponding to that of FIG. 4 through a further embodiment of the invention and FIG. 12 is a cross section along the line XII-XII from FIG. 11.
Fig. 13 is a longitudinal section through a further embodiment of the invention. Fig. 14 is a cross section along line XIV-XIV of Fig. 13
Fig. 15 is a detail of Fig. 13 in the same section, but on a larger scale.
The cuff frame, which is verazusehaulicht in FIGS. 1-8, is composed of two frame parts 20 forming part of the chair seat, brackets 22 formed as feet, footrest brackets 24 and back brace brackets 26 . The Ra-Ilmenteile and bracket , which advantageously consist of metal stirrer, are connected to one another with the help of joints, which in this embodiment are united in two front and two rear groups, generally with 28 and 30 are designated.
The groups of each group system 28 resp. 30 are arranged at a distance from one another. Each group includes three frame parts, the frame parts 20, 24 respectively. 26 can be bent over at the joints, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 3, so that the chair frame can be completely folded up and in this position little space required. takes.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the frame parts 24 and 26 provided with tube parts 32 inserted telescopically at the ends, which form a handle. The chair can be or as a stretcher. Bed can be used. The Ge alternate can be covered with fabric, a chain base or the like (not shown).
Each joint group consists of a hub part 34 (FIG. 4) which is connected to the frame part 20 of the chair, as well as two hub parts 36 and 38, <arranged on both sides of it / B> to the footrest 24 respectively. Back support 26 and the frame feet 22 or vice versa are connected.
The central hub parts 34 of each group are screwed onto a hollow shaft 40 and prevented from rotating relative to it by means of a locking ring 42. The mutual axial position of the hub parts 34 is thus clearly defined.
The hub parts 36, 38 , on the other hand, are axially movable to the central hub part 34 so that the frame parts of the chair can be rotated relative to one another and fixed in the desired position.
An> inner, designed in two parts hollow shaft 44 extends between and through two joint groups belonging together, z. B. 28, and is connected on the one side outside of the outermost hub part 38 with a stop-forming corded button 46 through that a pin 48 through the button and the wave passes through. This pin can have a slightly smaller diameter on its central part located in the shaft 44 than on the two sides here, so that the pin is held in its position.
The button 46 rests on the outermost of the hub parts 38 and is provided with peripherally separated projections 50 , soft with recesses 52 in the hub part 38 A tensioning element in the form of a switching arm 54 is fastened by means of a bolt, 56, to the opposite end of the shaft 44 outside the hub part 38 located there provided with one or two eccentric cam disks 58 for contact with the hub part 38 .
To reduce friction, the cam disk could, for example, rest against a roller (not shown). When the switching arm 54 is rotated 180 'from the position shown in FIG. 4, the hub parts 38 are moved in the direction of the central hub part 34.
The two parts of the hollow shaft 44 are held together by a bolt 60 which is screwed into the shaft ends with threads directed in the opposite direction. When the knob 46 is rotated, the length of the shaft 44 is changed, and in this way its length and thus the force with which the hub parts 38 are tensioned against the hub parts 34 can be adjusted.
If necessary, the button 46 can be replaced by a tensioning arrangement of the same type as the locking arm 54.
On the shaft 40 between the two innermost hub parts 36 a changeable spacing and closing element is arranged, the one hollow shaft or sleeve 62 and one with this in the axial direction Has cooperating clamping arrangement in the form of a locking lever 64. The locking lever 64 can be rotated about two pins 66 (see in particular FIG. 8) which engage in axial longitudinal grooves 68 of the shaft 40 and the end parts of a bracket 70 .
The closing lever 61 is provided with two cam disks 72 , the eccentric surfaces for contact with the end part of the shaft 62, 76 and the side surface of the adjacent hub part 36 </ B> own. When the locking lever 64 is rotated by 90 ' from the position shown in FIG. 4, the two inner hub parts 36 are simultaneously forced to move in the direction of the central hub share 34 to move. The shaft 62, 76 is mounted on the shaft 40 by means of two sleeves 74a and 74 and its ends lie against the flanges of these sleeves.
The length of the shaft 62, 76 can be adjusted according to. For this purpose, two sleeves f s 7 6, 7 8 are screwed onto one end part of the shaft part 62 . One, sleeve 76 rests against the pipe socket 74, which is axially movable relative to the shaft 62, 76 and which in turn rests against the hub part 36 . By turning the sleeve 76 in one direction or the other, the length a of the shaft 62, 76 can be adjusted. The other sleeve 78 is used to fix the sleeve 76 in the desired position.
As can be seen from FIG. 4, the outer thread of the shaft part 62 can be a piece in the part of the sleeve 78, that of the sleeve 76 </ B > is turned away, run free.
The hub parts 34, 36, 38 in each joint group are provided on their mutually adjacent side surfaces with circular toothed rings 80 , the teeth of which mesh with one another when the hub parts are axially aligned are fed to each other to determine them in accordance with the above statements. The teeth of the ring gears can be trapezoidal in cross-section.
The middle hub part 34 has projections 82 on both sides (one of which is shown in FIG. 4), which extend in the axial direction and thus against the hub parts 36, 38 > extend. The latter are provided radially in front of the tooth tip 80 with an inner toothed ring 81 , which forms a continuation of the toothed ring 80 and around 90 'Is transferred to him. A spring washer 86 , which enters between the teeth of the toothed ring 84, is fastened to the projection 82.
If the hub parts are not in locking engagement, the resistance of the spring washer 86 must be overcome when the frame parts of the chair rotate relative to one another.
The disk 86 ensures that the teeth 80 of one part lie in the middle of the spaces between the teeth of the other part after the frame parts have been changed over, so that the teeth always interlock when the locking lever 54 be-zw. 64 has been brought into the closed position.
Between the middle hub part 34 and the two hub parts 36, 38 lying to the side of it, screw threads 88 of the same thickness are inserted so that the hub parts are reliably separated, when the locking lever 54 respectively. 64 can be brought out of the closed position.
A leaf-shaped spring 90 presses with a certain pretension against the inner cylindrical circumference of the hub parts 36 and 38, - in the present case against the Ring gears 84.
The ends of the spring 90 rest on the projection 82 of the central hub part 34 (see FIGS. 6 and 7). < When changing the angular position of the frame parts relative to one another, the frictional resistance between the cylindrical contact surfaces of the spring 90 and the parts 36 or. 38 to be wounded. This resistance is dimensioned in a suitable manner so that a sufficient braking resistance is obtained, which prevents the chair from collapsing, for example as a result of the dead weight of the frame parts, when the Schliessanord is released.
At the same time, the spring 90 offers practically no resistance to the axial displacement of the hub parts when they are to be transferred into the closed position. In order to prevent the spring 90 from coming out of its correct axial position, a number of shoulders 92 distributed around the circumference (see FIG. 4) on the same radius as the spring can be used 90 be arranged in the central hub part 34.
For the purposes of the invention, as liervorgellt above, two hub parts, such. B. the hub parts 36 connected to the frame feet 22 and the hub parts 34 connected to the seat frame 20, belonging to the two related groups with a single handle with the aid of the closing lever 64, regardless of the third -en hub part, e.g. B. 38, are firmly coupled.
With this embodiment, forin the invention it is thus possible, although the joints for both the feet such as e.g. for the, back support are united in the same group to change the angular position of this back support, while that one of the feet remains unchanged, so that z.
B. a sick person can continue to sit or lie in a chair, or vice versa while the angular position of the back support of the chair feet continues to change too much strain '' (which: is important if the chair is used as a stretcher for automobile transport, since the feet are out of space considerations.
must be opened under the stretcher without the patient having to be lifted out of it).
In the embodiment according to FIG. 9, as in the other embodiments, the same designations as in FIGS. 1-8 are used for corresponding parts. Instead of the shaft 40, which firmly supports the hub parts 34 according to the previous embodiment, a shaft 94 is arranged, relative to which the central hub parts 34 of the two joint groups are axially movable.
The shaft 94 is provided on the outside of the hub parts 34 with stops 96 which limit the axial freedom of movement of the hub parts in the direction of one another. When the shooting bell 64 is rotated into the closed position, the inner hub parts 36 press outwards and bring them into contact with the hub parts 34, which in turn would the stop saw 96 get down to business.
The frame parts connected to the hub parts 34, 36 are thereby closed relative to one another. If now the closing lever 54 is also moved into its closing position. a fixed locking connection between the frame parts connected to parts 34 and 38 can also come about.
If the locking lever 64 is now turned back into its starting position (the position shown in the drawing), the lock between all hub parts is canceled; If it is then brought into its closed position, all hub parts, in cooperation with the contact saws, are driven by the closing lever 54 (in the closed position), the shaft 44 and the one at the other end of the Shaft attached stop are formed, closed again.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 9, it is thus possible to loosen and lock all hub parts belonging to a group system with one movement. While the closing lever 64 is in its closed position, the hub parts 34 and 38 can also be independently detached from one another and locked together, as can be seen from the above. If the part 38 e.g.
B. is connected to the rear part of the foot of the chair, the angular position of this pair of feet can thus be changed without the backrest needing to be relieved (important if the chair is used as a stretcher). At the same time, the locking lever 64 enables the chair to be set up or folded easily with a single movement.
The embodiment according to FIG. 10 differs from the previous one only in that the shaft 94 limits the movement of the central hub part inwards instead of outwards.
So it is here. everything is reversed to what was stated above, in that the closing element 54, in cooperation with the spacer element, which is formed from the shaft 62 and the closing lever 64 (in the closing position), releases and closes all hub parts during the closing element 64 only the nails 34, 36 release and close. If the part 36 e.g.
B. with the back support respectively. Footrest is connected, the angular position of the backrest or The footrest can be changed without the chair feet needing to be relieved (of particular importance if it is used as a deck chair for the sick and convalescent - who can even move it themselves). At the same time, in any case, the locking lever 54 makes it easy to set up and / or. Collapse the chair with one hand.
The embodiments according to FIGS. 9 and 10 can otherwise be implemented in their details in accordance with what has been described in connection with FIGS. 1-8.
To clarify the construction, the two closing elements (64, 54) are shown out of the closed position in FIGS. 9 and 10 , although this is of course out of the question in normal use ( in contrast to the embodiment according to FIG. 4).
It is unnecessary to bring the two levers 64, 54 into the uncoupled state, in that all the hub parts of the two groups are already through the one lever, namely the lever 64 in the embodiment. 9 and the lever 54 in both embodiments according to FIG. 10, are brought out of their coupling positions.
In Fig. 4, however, only two hub members of each group when rotating the lever 54 respectively. 64 influenced. If, as is assumed here, the closing engagement takes place by means of toothed rims and the tooth depth would be 2 mm, for example, then in the embodiment according to FIG. 9, this would have to be inserted into the cam disk of the locking lever 54 " .Inlaid SpieP (the curve slope calculated from its third center point)
at least 4 mm, while the play inserted in the cam disk of the closing lever 64 would have to be at least 8 Tnm, since all hub parts should be able to be cleaned with this sole lever.
If one therefore assumes that the two locking levers are in the closed position and then opens the closing lever 54, the sleeve 94 with its stop 96 will rest on the outside of the hub part 34, opening continues the closing lever 64 (however, as mentioned, using the closing lever in this order is pointless), a "SpieP" arises that is twice as large as that produced by the closing lever 54, ie 8 mm;
The consequence of this is that due to the compensating effect of the helical springs (provided that they are arranged according to FIG. 4) the total play is evenly distributed and the parts 34 therefore see something removed in the direction of the anseffilages 96 (as shown in Fig. 9). The total play 4 + 8 mm must actually be present in the example.
On the one hand, the lever 64 should be able to trigger all hub links, which corresponds to an axial movement of 4 X 2 mm, on the other hand, however, the outermost hub links should be able to trigger independently of this, d. < / B> h. move them together 2 X 2 mm.
For the embodiment according to FIG. 10, the reverse applies that the play inserted into the cam disk of the locking lever 64 is at least 4 mm and the play inserted into the cam disk of the locking lever 54 is at least 8 / B> -mm must be.
Instead of the shaft sleeve 62 and the closing lever 64, for example, two tubular sleeves can be arranged, which in a suitable manner, for. B. by means of pins, are secured against twisting relative to the hub parts 36 . Between these pipe sleeves, a pipe sleeve can be arranged which is screwed onto the pipe sleeve in such a way that when the pipe sleeve is rotated, the pipe sleeve presses against the hub parts 36, causing them to engage and disengage with the Hub parts 34 are brought.
Closing levers with knee joints or other suitable clamping elements are also conceivable.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 11 and 12, the central hub parts 34 are the same as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 8 / B> firmly connected to the shaft 40 so that their mutual axial distance is constant. The locking of the hub parts to one another, however, comes about with the help of discs or lamellae 120 and 122, which alternately on the middle part 34 and the part 36 located to the side of this respectively. 38 are specified.
This definition is achieved because the lamellas 120 are non-circular on their outer circumference, e.g. have the shape of a polygon which fits into a correspondingly shaped recess 124 in the hub part 36, 38. The disks 122 are also out of round BEZW on their inner circumference. designed as a polygon and placed on the outer surface 126 of the same shape of part 34.
In contrast, the disks 120, 122 are movable in the axial direction relative to the hub parts. A spring washer 128 with a slit, somewhat like a canis, is between the central hub parts. 34 and the membrane, npa, -kete 120, 122 is inserted and ensures that there is a sufficiently large circumferential braking torque between the hub parts,
if these are out of the closed position so that the frame parts become self-contained and do not collapse due to their own weight. The, spring washer, 128 can rest against radially projecting ribs 130 of part 34.
A hollow shaft 132 arranged inside the shaft 40 extends on one side to outside the outer hub part 38 and is here with a tensioning element, a button 134 screwed onto the shaft part , connected. Between the button 134 and the hub part 38 there is a disk 136 which is inserted with a tab 138 into a slot of the shaft 132 occurs. On its opposite side, the shaft 132 is arranged by means of a pin 138 or the like with a stop disk arranged outside the hub part 38 located there and resting against it 141 firmly connected.
Therefore, if the knob 134 is turned on the shaft 132, an axial displacement of the two outer hub parts 38 of the same group system of joints relative to the central hub part 34 is possible. Has a screwed on the Aiisahlagscheibe 141 button 140; a central journal 142, on the end part of which an inner hollow shaft 144 is loosely placed.
The shaft 144 is provided with axial recesses 146 into which a pin 148 fastened to the axle pin enters. The shaft 144 is therefore forced to follow the knob as it rotates, but is at the same time displaceable in the axial direction relative to the knob 140, so that the aelisial displacement of the two outer hub parts 38 caused by the knob 134 is made possible.
Two pipe sleeves 150 are screwed onto each side of the pipe shaft 144. Outside the outer shaft 40 there are two pipe sleeves 152 which are firmly connected to the inner pipe sleeves 150 by means of screws 154, the latter seen through the shafts 40 and 132 extend and are axially displaceable relative to these in elongated recesses 156 .
By turning the button 140, the outer pipe sleeves 152 can be removed from one another so that they press against the inner hub parts 36 and the locking of the couplings 36, 34 make sure.
It is easy to see that each of the outer pipe sleeves 152, , instead of being connected to an inner sleeve screwed onto the pipe shaft 144, as described here, by means of a pin or the like that extends through the recesses < B> 156 in the shafts 40 and 132 and runs in a circular circumferential recess in the shaft 144, could be fixed in the axial direction relative to the shaft 144.
The locking of the hub parts relative to one another takes place in the embodiment according to FIGS. 11 and 12, as can be seen from the above, by the friction between the lamellae 120, 122. This locking principle can of course also be used in embodiments that in accordance with what is described in connection with FIGS. 9 and 10, can be used.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 13-15, the hub parts 34 and 36 act respectively. 38 with pressing members in the form of segments or tabs 160 , the outer parts of which are pressed radially outward when the hub parts are axially guided against one another, and by a Frictional force directed in the circumferential direction couple these parts together. The segments or tabs 160 are preferably connected to one another at their inner parts,
so that they form a coherent, radially slotted disc 161 . This disk is expediently provided with an internal recess 164 which, in cooperation with the hub part 34, fixes the disk on its circumference relative to it. The flaps 160 can be bent at an angle along fold lines 163 on the inner hub part of the disc and therefore extend obliquely between the hub parts.
Furthermore, the middle part of the disk abuts against the hub part 34 and its outer part against the hub part 36 or. 38 in the axial direction, so that when the hub parts are brought together, the tabs are rotated around the fold line 163 and their outer edges frictionally engage with internal surfaces on the hub part 36 </ B> resp. 38,
be pressed. These surfaces are recesses wedge-shaped in cross-section (Fig. 15), the outer edges of the tabs being somewhat rounded or a, bgesohrä -4. As a result, the frictional torque at the contact surfaces between the lobes and the wedge recess 162 is extremely large in relation to the axial forces required for the tight locking of the hub parts.
The pressing of the pressure elements respectively. Tabs on the friction surfaces of the hub parts 36, 38 can be made by special pressure devices, in which case several disks 161 can expediently be used for each hub part.
The disk 161 with its lobes can consist of resilient material and with a certain preload on the hub part. 36, 38 and whose wedge recess 162 are in contact, so that a circumferential braking torque of suitable magnitude can be present between the hub parts when these are in the uncoupled state.
Just as in the previous embodiment, a button 134 is arranged outside the outer hub part 38 as a spa element and is screwed onto a shaft 13 2 which extends outside of the hub part 38 of the other group reacts, the end part of the shaft 132 being bent there around an attachment washer 166 .
The button 134 abuts against the first-mentioned hub part 38 via a bearing 168. A pin 170 prevents the button 134 from moving away from the shaft Screw down 132 . In this embodiment, the central hub parts 34 can be displaced in the axial direction, but their freedom of movement towards one another is limited by a shaft sleeve 172 which, by means of a projection 173, is always against Rotation relative to the Nalenteile 34 is secured.
By turning the knob 134, all the hub parts are loosened and tightened over the tabs 160 in accordance with what has been said above.
A shaft 174 arranged inside the shaft 132 extends to outside of the hub part 38 on the side opposite the button 134 and is here in the form of a spa, internal organ Button 176 into which it is screwed. A driving pin 178 which can have an elongated cross section is firmly connected to this shaft.
This pin extends axially, with play, through recesses 156 in the two shafts 132, 172 and is firmly connected to an outer pipe socket 152 which rests on the right The hub part 36 located in FIG. 13 can be brought. Inside the sleeve shaft 174 is a shaft 180 which extends through the button 176 and is provided on the outside with a rounded part 182 which rests against the button 176 in the axial direction.
With the shaft 180 a pin 184 of the same shape as the pin 178 is firmly connected. The pin 184 is axially movable in a recess 156 in all shafts 172, 132, 174 and with a pipe socket 152 in the > Near to the left in Fig. 13 , part 36 firmly connected.
By turning the button 176 the sleeves 152 are moved up and away from one another, r or. from and onto the hub parts 36 and thus allow their release C respectively. Fixed obsolescence relative to the central hub part 34. The button 176 does not lie against the hub part 138 .
It is easy to see that, instead of being described here, both the wave 180 and the. Shaft 174 can be screwed into the button 176 if it is in the opposite direction, or the shaft 180 can also be screwed into the button, while the shaft 174 counteracts in the axial direction the inside of the button 176 hits (in the latter case the shafts 180 and 174 can expediently change their mutual position so that the shaft 180 </ B> the shaft 174 encloses).
It is also to be understood that not only the button 134 but also the button 176 could be replaced, for example, by a locking lever which is attached to each of the shafts 180, 174 and abuts with an eccentric cam on the suitably shaped end portion of the other shaft; the buttons can also be provided with lever arms.
As in the case of the embodiment according to FIG. 10, one closing organ, namely the button 134, can act in conjunction with the sleeves 152 (in the closed position) as a stop (spacer organ ) Bring all hub parts apart from and into locking engagement with one another.
While the button 134 and thus the hub parts 34 and 38 remain in the closed position, only the hub parts 34 and 36 can be used with the button 176 loosen and tighten relative to each other. The hub parts 36 are therefore advantageously with the back support respectively. The footrest of the chair or stretcher is connected.
The fastening with pressure elements according to what is described here can of course also be used in embodiments who work as described in connection with FIG. 4 (in which the axial distance between the central hub parts 34 is fixed) or as in connection with FIG > 9 (in which the axial freedom of movement of the central hub parts is limited in the direction of each other).
