Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlöslichen,     höhermolekularen        Guanamins.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpaten  tes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines  wasserlöslichen,     höhermolekularen        Guanamins,     welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass       tauroyl-N-isopropylxylyl-biguanid,    wie es  durch Umsetzen von     Lauroyl-cyanguanidin     mit einem Gemisch von ungefähr gleichen  Teilen m- und     p-N-Monoisopropylxylidin    er  hältlich ist, auf Temperaturen über 170  er  hitzt und das so erhaltene     Guanamin    durch       Sulfuration    wasserlöslich gemacht wird.  



  Das     Natriumsalz    der neuen Verbindung  ist ein helles Pulver, das in Wasser klar lös  lich ist und     Verwendung    als Textilhilfsmittel  findet.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  88,5     Teile        Lauroyl-N-isopropylxylyl-bi-          guanid,    wie es durch Erhitzen von     Lauroyl-          cy        anguanidin    mit einem Gemisch von unge  fähr gleichen Teilen     N-mono-isopropyliertem     m- und     p-Xylidin    erhalten werden kann,  werden unter Rühren bis zur Beendigung der  Wasserabspaltung auf 180-220  erhitzt.  Nach dem Erkalten wird eine fast farblose  spröde Masse erhalten.  



  15 Teile der so erhaltenen Verbindung  werden in 30 Teilen Schwefelsäuremono-         hydrat    gelöst und bei 0-5  mit 30 Teilen       Oleum    26 % bis zur Wasserlöslichkeit     sul-          fiert.    Sobald dies der Fall ist, wird auf     Eis-          ,vasser    gegossen. Die ausgeschiedene     Sulfon-          säure    wird     abfiltriert,    mit Natronlauge neu  tralisiert und das     Natronsalz    zur Trockne ein  gedampft.

   Es besitzt vorzügliche kapillar  aktive Eigenschaften und kann sowohl ah       Kalkseifenlöser        bezw.        -emulgator    als auch ah  Waschmittel verwendet werden.
