Description
Ilapazitiver Spannungswandler. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein kapa- zitiver Spannungswandler, wie ihn beispiels weise die beigegebene Figur zeigt. Dieser be steht aus einem kapazitiven Spannungs- teiler S mit beispielsweise zwei Kondensato renCl, C2;
Ilapacitive voltage converter. The subject of the invention is a capacitive voltage converter, such as the example shown in the accompanying figure. This consists of a capacitive voltage divider S with, for example, two capacitors Cl, C2;
A medium-voltage circuit is connected to the latter capacitance, which again consists of a choke coil Dr and an intermediate voltage converter W. With capacitive voltage transformers of this type, there is a risk that if the intermediate transformer is short-circuited on the secondary side,
on the choke coil respectively. A high voltage occurs at the capacitance C-- due to resonance, which under certain circumstances can endanger the insulation of these circuit parts. The application of sparks parallel to the throttle Dr or, as indicated by dotted lines, parallel to the condenser SAW C2 is unfavorable in that the protective spark gaps must be connected directly to the medium voltage and the parts to be protected are usually under oil, so that the installation such a protective spark gap only in a special one,
air-filled housing is possible, please include.
In the capacitive voltage converter according to the invention, this disadvantage is avoided by providing the choke coil with a secondary winding to which the protective spark gap laid in the air space outside the oil-filled housing of the capacitive voltage converter is connected.
The figure shows an exemplary embodiment of the invention which is readily understandable. The choke coil Dr is provided with a secondary winding which works on the spark gap f. By suitable selection of the transformation ratio of the windings of the choke coil, the response voltage of the protective spark gap, which is otherwise several kV, can be transformed down to a response voltage of only a few kV.
In this way it is possible to use normal small porcelain thread guides to open the ends of the secondary winding; to lead the choke coil to the outside.
