La fig. 1 est une coupe verticale d'une montre munie du dispositif; les fig. 2 et 3 montrent un, détail à échelle i g r andie en deux positions différentes.
La montre représentée en fig. 1 comprend un fond-calotte à paroi latérale 5 épaisse sur le bord de laquelle est pressé, par un dispo sitif de serrage non représenté, le bord d'une glace 6; un paquetage 7 en matière compres sible assure l'étanchéité du joint entre la paroi 5 et la glace 6. Un mouvement 8 est ajusté dans la paroi 5 du fond-calotte sur le bord de laquelle il repose par le filet d'emboîtage de sa platine 9. En deux points opposés du pourtour de .la boîte, le fond-calotte présente deux trous borgnes taraudés 10 foncés de l'extérieur dans sa paroi latérale 5.
Des vis de serrage 11 sans tête sont engagées dans les trous 10 dont le fond 12 est assez mince pour être déformé (fig. 3) par l'extrémité arrondie des vis 11 lorsque celles-ci sont vissées à fond et pour exercer ainsi une pression radiale sur le mouvement. Deux trous @s:uffisent en g6né- ral pour figer le mouvement, mais il va sans dire qu'on peut en prévoir trois ou quatre.
Il va sans dire également que le même dispositif peut s'appliquer à d'autres pièces entourant le mouvement, carrure ou cercle d'agrandisse ment par exemple, suffisamment épaisses pour qu'on puisse y foncer des trous taraudés.

Set screws 11 without head are engaged in the holes 10, the bottom 12 of which is thin enough to be deformed (fig. 3) by the rounded end of the screws 11 when they are fully screwed in and thus to exert pressure. radial on the movement.
