Bei bekannten Druckminderem: äussert sich die Abhängigkeit -,des Mitteldruckes vom Hochdruck Urin, Uass der Mitteldruck mit sinkendem Hoohdruak steigt. Dieser Nachteil konnte bisher nur durch die Wahleiner aus reichend grossen Membran einigermassen aus geglichen werden;

um @dne durch Temperaturämdierungen bedingten Einflüsse auf den absioluten Ab- stand der Membranen 24 und 25 vonein ander zu kompensieren. Das Hochdruckgas strömt durch den schmalen;
Pressure reducer with a closing spring that presses the valve closing element onto its seat. The opening pressure respectively. the mean pressure of, for example, those known as high altitude breathers. Pressure reducers are. strongly dependent on the respective high pressure.
As an example, it is assumed that the valve seat of a printer serving as high-altitude breathing apparatus with a valve body opening against the high pressure has a diameter of 1.7 mm.
At 150 at initial pressure, this valve seat is subjected to a pressure of around 3.5 kg in addition to the closing spring pressure
EMI0001.0023
That means that at the beginning about twice the force is required to open the valve than at the end of using the device with a pressure of about 5 at.
With known pressure reducers: the dependence of the mean pressure on the high pressure urine is expressed, Uass the mean pressure rises with decreasing pressure. Until now, this disadvantage could only be compensated to some extent by choosing a sufficiently large membrane;
nevertheless, fluctuations of 0.2 to 0.5 at at 3 to \ 4 at mean pressure remained.
This deficiency is eliminated in the pressure reducer according to the invention, in which there is a closing spring which presses the valve closing body onto its seat, because the valve closes,
.body is under the effect of a high-pressure gas-acted component which, when the high pressure increases, the valve closing body in the direction of the pressure effect of the high-pressure gas:
it is relieved and loaded in the same direction with decreasing high pressure, so that the sum of the high pressure side acting on the valve closing body # .the forces remains almost constant with changing high pressure.
It can be achieved, for example, d'ass, the closing force at 150 at for example from 3.4 kg high pressure + 1 kg spring force = 4.4 kg and at 5 at high pressure from 0.4 kg high pressure -E-- 4 kg spring force, again = 4.4 kg combined.
This results in a constant ano; pring pressure resp. a constant mean pressure. A flexible plate can be used as a counter-bearing for the closing spring pressing the valve body onto its seat, which plate is arched in accordance with the changing high pressure, whereby the closing spring is tensioned differently. Advantageous: you switch between the flexible plate, which through:
a spring-loaded plate can be supported, and the closing spring a lever transmission. An insert closed off by membranes and located at high pressure can also be provided, one membrane of which serves as a counter-bearing for the valve body or for the closing spring which presses on its seat.
The space between the membranes can be filled - especially when very high pressures are to be reduced - with compressed gas of, for example, 40 kg / em =, so that it works much more evenly than a single bending plate whose path diagram is almost dependent on high pressure runs parabolically.
The space between the membranes can also be provided with a filling body reducing its volume, the internal pressure, spring force of the membranes and the size of the space still remaining between the membranes and the filling body must be coordinated so that 'the combined stroke of the membrane or . :
whose compressive force approximates in the opposite sense when the pressure of the compressed gas changes; the same as the pressure of the compressed gas on the valve seat changes.
In the drawing, some Ausfüh approximately forms of a pressure reducer according to the invention are shown for example.
Fig. 1 is a vertical section through a pressure miner serving as a height breathing apparatus. Fig.? shows a pressure reducer designed as an overpressure breathing apparatus with lateral supply of the high-pressure filling material, partly in section.
3 shows a Drue.kminderer which can also be used as a height a.tmer in a different embodiment, partly in section.
Fig. 4 shows an insert with. two -kIlem- branen, also in section, and F'i; g. Figure 5 shows another embodiment of a similar insert.
Fi, g.6 shows a further embodiment of a pressure reducer that can be used as an altitude breathing apparatus, with lateral supply of Ilochdrucksauerstof f e.s, in section.
Fig. 7 is a section through another embodiment of a pressure reducer. Fig. 8 is a section through. a pressure reducer with a valve body that closes against the pressure.
In the case of the embodiment according to FIG. does the Hochdr@zckga.s enter through a nozzle 1 of a valve housing 1 'into a high pressure chamber? a, in which a square locking bolt 3 and a locking spring 4 are brought under. The chamber is closed off at the bottom by a see disc 5 which has the valve seat and is pierced in the middle.
In the low-pressure roughness 6 enclosed by a round housing 18, levers 7 dominate in a manner not shown in detail a square pin 9, slidably guided in a longitudinally drilled threaded pin 8 holding the disk 5 in place, for lifting the locking bolt 3 from its seat , for the purpose of opening the valve.
The housing 18 carrying the valve housing 1 'is closed off at its end faces in FIG. 2 by two membranes (not shown in FIG. 1) to which the levers 7 are connected with their lower ends. The levers 7 are pulled towards each other at their lower ends by a spring not shown in the same way as in FIG.
The closing spring 4 is supported on top of a bendable seed plate 10, which see depending on the pressure level in space 2 more or less sags and so the closing spring 4 relaxes with increasing high pressure, more stressed with decreasing high pressure. The inhalation tube, not shown, is connected to the socket 17 of the housing 18.
When inhaling, the pressure in space 6 is reduced. The levers 7 are moved inwards by the spring pulling them against each other at the bottom, pushing the pin 9 upwards and, through this, the locking bolt 3 from the valve seat:
against the high pressure in space 2 and the action of the spring 4 uboben respectively. Open the valve 3, 5 so that oxygen from the ilo: ahdmckraum 2 can flow into the space 6 while reducing the pressure until the negative pressure is equalized, the membranes 15, 16 move outwards and the lever 7 the pin 9 and: allow the locking bolt 3 to lower.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, an angle lever 12 is connected between the spring 4 and a membrane 11. The mem brane 11 is: pressed by a spring 13 to the winch lever 12.
Here, too, the membrane 11 is bent depending on the pressure prevailing in the space 2 and: as a result, the closing spring 4 is relaxed with increasing high pressure, and more loaded with decreasing high pressure.
The housing 18 of the pressure reducer eats at the end faces: through, control diaphragms 15, 16 a: closed, between which a spring 14 is located. Screw-in covers 19, 20 are provided outside the membranes, which are used to fix the control membranes 15, 16. In the space between the Mem branes 15, 16 are the about pins 21 and 22 rotatable levers 7 which are connected to the Mem branes.
The spring 14 located in the low-pressure chamber 6 tends to pull the levers 7 with the membranes against one another and to open the oxygen supply valve 3, 5. The inhalation tube, not shown, is also connected to the opening 17 here.
When breathing in, the air is sucked out of the space 6 located between the control membranes 15, 16. The membranes move towards one another and: press the levers 7 against one another, which: push the pin 9 upwards. This is: the square locking bolt 3 lifted from the Ven tilsitz 5, respectively. the valve 3, 5 against the high pressure in space 2 geöff net.
Pressurized oxygen that has entered the space 2 through the nozzle 1 flows out of this through the annular gap between the valve seat and the pin 9 into the low pressure space 6, from where it passes through the opening 17 into the breathing tube . When a certain overpressure is reached in space 6, the levers: against the effect:
the spring 14 by moving apart: the diaphragms 15, 16 spread, and the valve 3, 5 is closed, whereupon the process is repeated after gas has been removed from the opening 17 by breathing in.
In the embodiment of FIG. 3, in contrast to that according to FIG. 2, in the connection 23 connected to the high-pressure connection 1: an insert sleeve 26 with two membranes 24 and 25 is accommodated.
The sleeve 26 is movable, specifically mounted in the central bore of the connecting piece 23 so as to be longitudinally displaceable. The fixing of the sleeve 26 in the longitudinal direction takes place on the one hand by: the short arm of the lever: 12, on the other hand: by the adjusting screw 27, which:
is supported against the membrane 24 and which can be fixed by a lock nut 28. The bolt 29 lies with a little play (not visible in Fig. 3) in the central bore of the screw ring 32, so that the high pressure gas from the space 2 out through the ring gaps on the bolt 29 to the membrane 25. gen can.
On the other hand, the high-pressure gas flows through: the narrow annular gap, which cannot be seen in FIG. 3, between: the sleeve 26 and the wall of the bore in the connector 23 in which the sleeve 26 lies. The Ilochdruokga: s arrives at membrane 24 in this way.
The membrane 25 ran over a pin 29 on the angle lever 12 :. 7wis, chen: dem, membranes 24 and 25 there is a disk-shaped, in: the middle of the filling body 30 (see FIG. 4) to reduce the dead space between the membranes.
The angle lever 12 respectively. the membrane 25 again forms the counter-bearing for the closing spring 4, which presses the closing bolt 3 onto the valve seat 5.
At high oxygen pressure, the membranes 24 and 25 are pressed in the direction of the filling body 30 (see FIGS. 4 and 5). Under the action of the spring 4, the sleeve 26 slides to the left.
The spring 4 is thereby relieved. The closing pressure is compensated for by the high pressure resting on the valve closure piece 3. As a result, the closing spring 4 can relax with increasing high pressure and move the arm of the angle lever 12 lying on it upwards.
The force of the spring 4 is thus reduced at high oxygen pressure. As the high pressure drops, the membranes 24 and 25 go again ausenn.- as a result of the pressure between them, the membrane 25 pressing on the angle lever 12 and thereby tensioning the spring 4.
The total closing pressure, which is composed of the spring pressure and the oxygen pressure acting on the locking bolt 3, remains constant, so that the pressure reducer used as the Höhenalmer practically always has the same starting pressure and the same regardless of the level of the respective oxygen pressure Breathing resistance retains.
By .dein filling body 30 it is achieved that the pressure between the membranes increases rapidly when they are compressed. The membranes 24 and 25 as such are therefore only exposed to relatively small differences in pressure.
If the pressure between the measuring membranes at an external pressure of 1 kg / cm2 is, for example, 40 kg / cm @, the volume v of the space between the membranes and 'the packing body is 3 cm', and the external pressure rises to, for example 601 @ g / em ', and it is also possible to achieve that the membranes have moved by 1/3 of their total stroke in the direction of the packing 30,
and the inner space is thereby reduced by, then the inner impression, since the product of pressure P and volume v of the inner space between the membranes is constant and, according to the above information, is 120
EMI0004.0056
increased, that is; the membranes are depressurized.
If the external pressure rises to 120 kg? Em2, the membranes are again pressed inwards, again by 1/3 of the total stroke, so that the volume is expressed as 1-2 / a = 1/3 or in a '. from 3 to 1 cm 'together: has shrunk, the internal pressure rises
EMI0004.0070
that means the membranes remain pressure-relieved.
Internal pressure, - spring force of the membranes and the size of the space still remaining between the membranes and the filler body are to be coordinated so that the stroke of the membranes respectively. whose pressure force changes when the pressure of the pressure- "a, - it changes in the opposite sense approximately as much as the pressure of the compressed gas on the valve seat. Or in other words:
The stroke of the membranes 24, 25, which thereby decreased. The space between them, the initial pressure between the diaphragms, the inherent spring force of the diaphragms, the characteristics of the closing spring 4 and the size of the valve seat should advantageously be coordinated so that the total pressure on the valve seat is approximately constant remains, regardless of the pressure of the dili,
clzgases and at the same time a minimal spraying of the membranes occurs.
Like Pig. 4 shows, the diaphragms 24 and 25 are soldered with their edges onto a filling body 30 which reduces the space between the diaphragms. A bore 31 in the filling body serves to pump up the space still remaining between the membranes.
The bore 31 is closed after filling. The membranes 24 and 25 are embedded in the insert sleeve 26 together with the filling body 30 with the aid of the screw ring 32 in such a way that the soldering needle between the membranes and the filling body is held together by the screw ring 32.
As shown in FIG. 5, a bimetallic element 34 can be installed in the insert sleeve 216 and this can rest against a flexible plate 33 carrying the pin 29,
in order to compensate for influences on the absolute distance of the membranes 24 and 25 from one another due to temperature changes. The high pressure gas flows through the narrow;
from: the Fig. 5 not visible annular gap between the bolt 29 and: Ie, r associated bore, such as -am the edge 'nozzle plate-shaped bimetal element 34 past to the space to the right of the membrane 25. The high pressure gas flows due to its high pressure through the slightest leak at high speed.
So it finds its way through the smallest gap, which in this case the annular gap between the bolt 29 and the associated bore: the screw ring 32 offers.
Dea in M g . 6 shown, which can be used as an altitude breathing apparatus, differs from that shown in FIG. 3 only insofar as
when the angle lever 12 arranged between the diaphragm 25 and the closing spring 4 is omitted and the insert sleeve 26 receiving the diaphragms 24 and 25 is placed directly on the spring 4 by means of the pin 29. The high-pressure oxygen has been coming through from the side: the nozzle 1 into the room 2.
This embodiment acts in the same way as the one described above.
In the housing 35 of the Druekmindererrs in Fig. 7 is provided, its. Vierkan tiger Ventilholzern 36 opens against the high pressure, the closing spring 37 and an encapsulated,
Membrane insert 38, not shown in detail, is arranged below the valve seat 39. The locking bolt 36 is pressed from below against the valve seat 39 by the spring 37. In the medium pressure chamber 40 there is:
a membrane 42 which is under the action of an adjusting spring 41 and which carries the pin 46 passing through the valve seat from above. The high pressure oxygen is supplied through the connector 43, the low pressure oxygen is withdrawn through the connector 44. Also, here, the spring 37 pressing the locking bolt 36 onto the seat 39 with increasing pressure:
That means, depending on the level of the high pressure of the oxygen: under the locking bolt, relieved by the fact that the membrane insert 38, on which the spring 37 is supported, yields downwards under the egg, out of the Iloch: pressurized oxygen.
The high pressure oxygen flowing in through the nozzle 43 fills the space 45 in which the valve pin 36, the closing spring 3.7 and the membrane insert 38 are located. By :
The annular gap between the central bore of the valve assembly 39 and the pin 46, when the valve pin 36 is lifted, oxygen enters the medium pressure chamber 40.
As soon as in this: the medium pressure set by the spring 41 is reached, the force of the compressed gas exerted on the diaphragm 42 from below outweighs the force of the spring 41. The diaphragm 42 arches upwards and the closing spring 37 presses the valve pin 36 on the valve assembly 39, where the subsequent flow of oxygen suppresses it.
In the case of the pressure reducer according to FIG. 8, which closes against the pressure, as soon as the set pressure is reached in the intermediate pressure chamber 40, the force on the membrane 42 outweighs the force of the adjusting spring 41.
As a result, the membrane 42 arches upwards. The sole spring 47 can now stretch and: presses the sealing peg 48 of the double-armed lever 49 onto the valve seat 50. In the space 51 there is again a membrane body 38 which acts directly on the sealing peg 48 via the pin 52.
When the oxygen pressure is high, the force of the membranes is low, the force of the oil pressing on the seal-picking substance is great. At low pressure, the reverse is the case. The sum of the pressures always remains constant and with it the mean pressure.
As can be seen from the description of the various embodiments of the pressure reducer described, its oxygen supply valve can close with the DIRLCh or give the pressure.
