Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 281495. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass man 1.5 - Di - p - toluido - anthrachinon mit einem schwefelnden Mittel in Gegenwart einer Kup- ferverbindung behandelt und die dabei erhal tene Rohschmelze unter Verwendung von Schwefelalkali .aufschliesst.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff ist ein dunkles Pulver und färbt die pflanzliche Faser in gelbstichig aliven Tönen, insbesondere von einer sehr guten Lichtechtheit.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Zu einer Schmelze von 12 Teilen Schwe fel in 150 Teilen Chlorschwefel werden all mählich 40 Teile 1.5 - Di - p - toluido - anthra- chin.on bei 70 bis 80 eingetragen. Man heizt langsam. auf 150 , kocht 1 Stunde unter Rückfluss und destilliert dann bis zur Trockne.
Das Trockengut wird mit 6 Teilen Kupfervitriol und 10 Teilen Schwefel ver mischt und 8 Stunden auf 270 erhitzt. Durch Nachbehandlung mit Schwefelnatrium. und Lauge wird der Farbstoff in üblicher Weise aufgeschlossen.

The dye obtained in this way is a dark powder and colors the vegetable fibers in yellowish, alive shades, in particular of very good lightfastness.
<I> Example: </I> To a melt of 12 parts of sulfur in 150 parts of chlorinated sulfur, 40 parts of 1.5 - di - p - toluido - anthracin.on at 70 to 80 are gradually added. One heats slowly. to 150, reflux for 1 hour and then distilled to dryness.
The dry material is mixed with 6 parts of vitriol and 10 parts of sulfur and heated to 270 for 8 hours. By post-treatment with sodium sulphide. and lye, the dye is digested in the usual way.
