Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 231495. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1-Anilidoanthracen mit einem schwefelnden Mittel behandelt und die dabei erhaltene Roh schmelze unter Verwendung von Schwefel alkali aufschliesst.
Der so erhaltene Schwefelfarbstoff ist ein schwarzes Pulver und färbt die pflanzliche Faser aus dem Schwefelnatriumbade in oliv stichig grauen Tönen von guter Lichtechtheit. <I>Beispiel:</I> Zu einer Schmelze von 12 Teilen Schwe fel in 150 Teilen Chlorschwefel werden all mählich 40 Teile 1-Anilidoanthracen, das aus 1-Anilidoanthrachinon durch Reduktion mit Zinkstaub in üblicher Weise hergestellt werden kann und, aus Benzin umkristalli siert, bei 125 schmilzt, bei 70 bis 80 ein getragen.
Man heizt langsam auf 150 , kocht etwa 1 Stunde unter Rückfluss und destilliert dann bis zur Trockne ab. Dann wird die Temperatur auf 270 erhöht und etwa 6 Stun den bei dieser Temperatur gehalten. Durch Nachbehandlung mit Schwefelnatrium und Natronlauge wird der Farbstoff in üblicher Weise aufgeschlossen und aufgearbeitet.

The mixture is slowly heated to 150, refluxed for about 1 hour and then distilled to dryness. Then the temperature is increased to 270 and held at this temperature for about 6 hours. The dye is broken down and worked up in the usual way by aftertreatment with sodium sulphide and sodium hydroxide solution.
