Packing and weighing machine for powdery 1Vimaterial. The present invention relates to a packing and weighing machine for powdery material with an optionally rotatable filling container, from which the material, after it has been made flowable at least in places, is fed to a number of filling tubes possibly rotating with the container.
It is known per se to make the material in the filling container ver flowable by means of an agitator in machines of this type, the material being kept in a state mixed with air by the air to the material in the container preferably at its bottom through valves or nozzles is added. The bottom of the container is provided with a number of outlet openings, one for each filling tube, and the material mixed with air by the agitator flows through these openings to the filling tubes and on to the packing containers, for example valve bags, which are attached to the filling tubes .
The weighing takes place automatically, and when the desired weight of material has passed through a filling pipe, the opening of the pipe closes, after which the packing container is also automatically discarded. The automatic filling, weighing and discarding of the packing container in these machines inevitably means that the machines have to be equipped with a number of mechanical organs. It is therefore important to be able to simplify these machines, for example by reducing the number of mechanical organs.
The present invention makes it possible to simplify and improve machines of the aforementioned type, namely by adding air or gas according to the invention to the material in the filling container, preferably in a finely divided state or as impact air, in such a way and in such an amount under pressure that the Material in the vicinity of the outlet openings of the container is brought into a flowable state in such a way that a uniform and regular flow of material to the filling tubes and through them is generated.
The agitator, which was previously required in machines of this type, can be avoided here, so that a simpler design is achieved. It is possible in the specified manner, without a stirrer, a regular and even flow to the filling tubes required for machines of this type. By using, for example, finely divided compressed air or the above-mentioned compressed air, the air consumption is reduced Reduced in relation to the previous way of working. In addition, the power requirement of the mechanical agitator is saved.
The air or the gases can be finely distributed by letting them pass through felt, cloth, porous plates and the like in a manner known per se, and finely divided is understood to be air that passes through the fine pores as it is used for Example in felt, cloth etc. are available. The material in the filling container is preferably not made flowable everywhere in the container - as is the case with known machines with agitators - but only in places, but in such a way that a uniform flow of material is created through the outlet openings of the container. The air or gases can also be added to the filling tubes in a finely divided state under pressure.
In this way, for example, the material in the filling tube can be put in a flowable state and thus emptied evenly, even if the filling tube is almost horizontal, which is important because the packing container, for example the valve bag, can then be attached to the filling tube without further assistance.
The aforementioned porous parts are preferably arranged in such a way that the material is fed to the outlet openings via surfaces which are directed obliquely from one or more sides towards the openings.
If, with special materials, it should be necessary to add finely distributed air to one or more places inside the container, this can be done by organs with porous parts at a distance from the walls and bottom of the container , through which parts the air is passed and finely distributed to stand all around in the surrounding material.
Such organs can, for example, be tubes protruding into the container, which are provided with larger holes at certain points along their length, which are covered with parts of a porous nature, such as felt, cloth or the like. In most cases, however, an additional air is sufficient only through the bottom of the container to arranged pipes of the type mentioned above or felt plates or valves covered with felt or the like to ensure a satisfactory emptying. Impact air can be added in a manner known per se by means of nozzles, valves or the like attached in or on the filling container. -, to which the air is fed to the bursts in rapid succession.
Such an addition of air at the bottom of the filling container in the vicinity of the outlet openings has the effect that the material in the space around the outlet openings is brought into a flowing state. becomes.
To explain the invention, reference is made to the drawing, on which a vertical section through an execution example of the packing and weighing machine according to the invention is shown.
In the figure, 1 denotes the filling container, which can optionally be rotatable about the axis. Through the lid of the filling container, the material is added by means of the raw 3 res. The filling container is supported by the column 4, which can be rotatable. When the filling container rotates, it preferably has a cylindrical shape; if it is fixed, it preferably has the shape of a rectangle. A number of outlet openings 5 are provided in the bottom of the filling container; the number can vary, for example 3 to 12.
Through a rubber spout 6, the material reaches the filling tube 7, the lower part 8 of which is designed to carry the packing container, for example a valve bag. The entire filling pipe is suspended from the heating rods 9, and the figure also shows the mechanism 11, which is automatically actuated, especially in the case of larger units, when the bag is to be thrown from the support piece 8 by lifting the bag holder 10 from the same . 18 is the closing mechanism for the holes 5 of the container 1 BEZW. the spouts 6.
The closing takes place, as is known by the way, because the rubber gas 6 is pressed against a fixed stop. In the container 1 porous, made of filter stone, felt or the same existing plates 12, 13, 14 are seen before. The plates 12 and 13 forming part of the side wall of the container are arranged at a certain distance from the outer casing of the container 1, so that a cavity 16 is created between the plates and the casing and is delimited at the top by a sheet metal ring 15. The plates 14 forming an upper wall of the container bottom are inclined and form a cavity 17.
Compressed air is fed to this cavity through the pipe 19, which is passed through the hollow column 4, and part of the air is passed on from the space 17 through the pipe 20 to the space 16. From the spaces 16 and 17 the air passes through the porous plates 12, 13 and 14, where they are finely distributed and see mixes with the material and makes the same flowable to such an extent that it emerges in an even and regular flow through the openings 5 of the container.
Between tween the individual outlet openings 5, the bottom of the container is also covered with porous platelets 21, whereby compressed air is passed, which is led, for example, through channels 25 in the lower part of the plates 13 and 14 to.
The particular purpose of the air added through the plates 12 is that the material in the upper part of the container can slide downwards easily, gradually as the emptying takes place. The air emerging from the plates 13, 14 and 21 has the effect that the material at the outlet openings is made flowable to such an extent that a uniform and regular outflow is achieved.
In the figure, the filling pipe 7 is equipped in the curvature with means for the addition of finely distributed compressed air by the pipe wall part 22 is made of porous material and is surrounded by a jacket 23. to which the compressed air at 24 is fed evenly or in bursts.
It goes without saying that the present packing and weighing machine is not limited to the use of the weighing arrangement, filling tubes, etc. shown in the figure.
