Garn.
weitaus weniger Reissfestigkeit und Elastizi tät als: der andere besitzt. Dadurch wird er reicht, dass bei Beanspruchung auf Zug, zum Beispiel beim, Reissen einer Masche an einem aus diesem Material hergestellten WiTkstück, wohl zuerst der kürzere Faden bricht;
Yarn. The subject of the present invention is a yarn, in particular for the production of a relatively stitch-proof knitted fabric. This yarn consists of a composition of at least two threads with different strengths and extensibility,
which are combined to form a yarn in unequal lengths, whereby one thread is significantly shorter than the other, has far less tensile strength and elasticity than the other and therefore the shorter thread first in case of injuries:
breaks while the longer thread still holds up, which prevents stitches from falling.
Knit-proof knitwear is manufactured on specially built machines with great losses in production. The present invention has the advantage over such solid mesh goods that these goods cannot only be processed on complicated machines specially designed for this purpose,
Instead, this yarn can be used to produce relatively sturdy goods on any knitting machine. According to one embodiment of the present invention, for example, the yarn consists of two or more threads made of the same or different materials, for example a thread of artificial silk and a thread of real silk,
or a thread made of wool and a thread made of rayon, etc. The -; e two of all different threads are twisted together, or one wound around the other, that one thread is significantly shorter than the other,
Far less tear resistance and elasticity than: the other one has. As a result, it is sufficient that in the event of a tensile load, for example when a stitch is torn on a piece of thread made of this material, the shorter thread will probably break first;
the longer one) but still withstands, which prevents a loop falling.
According to another embodiment, the same result can be achieved in that two or more threads of the same or different materials of the type are wound around
that the less resistant thread is wrapped around by the more resistant thread. By using such yarns for the production of relatively tight knitted goods, for example women's stockings, it is achieved that if the hash is damaged, falling stitches do not occur immediately.
If, for example, a stitch of such a knitted fabric, made from the named yarn, is damaged.
The wearer of the stockings is warned and with the necessary skill, she can easily carry out the repair in time and prevent the notorious drop stitches. Such a stocking is, so to speak, doubly secured and still looks unharmed because the loop is still tied by the longer thread.
