Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr.223541. Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren Disazofarbstoifes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren Disazofarbstoffes, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man 3,3'-Diaminodiphenyl- sulfon tetrazotiert und die Tetrazoverbindung mit 2 Mol 2-Amino-8-ogynaphthalin-6-sulfon- säure in saurer Lösung kuppelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 24,8 Teile 3,3'-Diaminodiphenylsulfon werden in üblicher Weise tetrazotiert. Die Tetrazoniumlösung kuppelt man mit 47,8 Tei len 2-Amino-8-oxynaphthalin-6-sulfonsäure, die man in 200 Teilen Wasser mit der nötigen Sodamenge neutral gelöst und wieder mit Salzsäure durch Ansäuern bis zu kongosaurer Reaktion ausgefällt hat. Die Kupplung er folgt langsam, durch Erwärmen und Zusatz von Natriumacetat kann sie jedoch beschleu nigt werden.
Nach Beendigung der Farb- stoffbildung Stellt man mit Sodalösung kongoneutral, filtriert und trocknet. Der Farbstoff, ein dunkelrotes Pulver, löst sich in Wasser gelbstichig rot, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure violett und färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in gelbstichig roten, lichtechten Tönen.
