Description

  

  Dispositif de montage pour roues arrière de cycles, motocyclettes  et autres véhicules de ce genre.         L'invention    concerne un dispositif de mon  tage pour roues arrière de cycles, motocy  clettes et     autres    véhicules de ce genre. Les  dispositifs actuellement connus ne permettent  pas l'enlèvement de la chambre à air sans  dérégler la position du blocage de la roue et  sans modifier le réglage de la tension de la       chaîne    de commande ou autres dispositifs.  



  Le dispositif de montage pour roues     arrière     de cycles,     motocyclettes    et autres véhicules  de ce genre, objet de l'invention, élimine les  inconvénients cités, par le fait qu'il comporte  des membres supérieurs et inférieurs de cadre  approximativement     horizontaux    et parallèles  et s'étendant sur au moins un côté de la  roue arrière, un support de roue présentant  des pattes destinées à     venir    en prise avec  des parties filetées desdits membres de cadre,  ces dernières étant pourvues d'écrous et de  contre-écrous permettant de bloquer le support  de roue en position.  



  Le dessin annexé représente, schémati  quement et à titre d'exemple, une forme  d'exécution de l'objet de     l'invention.       La     fig.    1 en est une vue de côté;  La     fig.    2 en est une vue en coupé suivant  la ligne     II-II    de la     fig.    1.  



  Selon le dessin, qui représente la forme  d'exécution préférée de l'objet de l'invention,  une partie du cadre d'un cycle ou d'une  motocyclette est     figurée.    Ce cadre comprend  des membres inférieurs et supérieurs 1 et 2  respectivement, approximativement parallèles  et horizontaux. Ces membres s'étendent sur  l'un des côtés de la roue arrière et portent  un support de roue 3 présentant des pattes 4       destinées    à être engagées sur des organes  filetés     solidaires    des membres     inférieurs    et  supérieurs .du cadre. Des écrous 5 permettent  de régler la tension de la chaîne (non repré  sentée). Des écrous 6 permettent de bloquer  les pattes 4 et donc tout le support 3 dans  la position désirée.

   L'une des pattes 4, de  préférence la patte supérieure, est prévue en  forme de<B>C</B> en section transversale,     ouvert     du côté' de la roue. Le support 3 comporte  en outre un perçage central pour le passage  de l'axe 8 de la roue. De cette faon, pour           retirer    la roue, il suffit de dévisser l'écrou<B>7</B>  et de retirer l'axe 8 de la roue, et de     desserrer     les écrous fi fixant le support aux membres  supérieurs et     inférieurs    du cadre, après quoi  le support de roue 3 peut être rejeté â l'exté  rieur en le faisant pivoter sur l'organe soli  daire du membre inférieur du cadre,

   la patte  supérieure 4 en forme de<B>C</B> permettant le dé  gagement de celle-ci du membre supérieur du  cadre pour mettre le support de roue en posi  tion ouverte ou rabattue. La chambre à air  ainsi que le pneu si on le désire peuvent  être retirés et remontés sans nécessiter le       déréglage    de la position de l'axe de la roue.  



  Le support de roue 3 peut constituer la  plaque de     fermeture    d'un carter 9 pour un  frein à expansion interne 10. Les segments  de ce frein peuvent être montés sur cette  plaque ou sur le carter 9. On voit que, lorsque  le support de roue est rejeté en position  ouverte, les segments du     frein    10 sont acces  sibles et peuvent être vérifiés, nettoyés ou  échangés facilement.     Afin    de permettre le  rabattement du support 3, sans nécessiter le  démontage des commandes des segments du  frein 10, il est avantageux de prévoir leur  commande au moyen d'un câble ou d'une       transmission    semblable.  



       Il    est évident que bien que le dispositif  de montage pour roue     arrière    décrit ci-dessus    soit prévu spécialement     pour    des motocy  clettes, cette invention peut aussi être appli  quée à des bicyclettes, tricycles et     side-cars.

  According to the drawing, which shows the preferred embodiment of the object of the invention, part of the frame of a cycle or of a motorcycle is shown. This frame comprises lower and upper limbs 1 and 2 respectively, approximately parallel and horizontal. These members extend on one of the sides of the rear wheel and carry a wheel support 3 having tabs 4 intended to be engaged on threaded members integral with the lower and upper members of the frame. Nuts 5 are used to adjust the chain tension (not shown). Nuts 6 make it possible to block the legs 4 and therefore the entire support 3 in the desired position.

   One of the lugs 4, preferably the upper lug, is provided in the shape of a <B> C </B> in cross section, open on the side of the wheel. The support 3 further comprises a central bore for the passage of the axle 8 of the wheel. In this way, to remove the wheel, it suffices to unscrew the nut <B> 7 </B> and remove the axle 8 from the wheel, and loosen the nuts fi securing the support to the upper and lower limbs of the wheel. frame, after which the wheel carrier 3 can be thrown to the outside by making it pivot on the solid member of the lower member of the frame,

   the upper tab 4 in the shape of a <B> C </B> allowing it to be released from the upper member of the frame to put the wheel support in the open or folded position. The inner tube as well as the tire, if desired, can be removed and reassembled without having to change the position of the wheel axle.



  The wheel support 3 can constitute the closing plate of a housing 9 for an internally expanding brake 10. The segments of this brake can be mounted on this plate or on the housing 9. It can be seen that, when the wheel support is rejected in the open position, the brake shoes 10 are accessible and can be checked, cleaned or replaced easily. In order to allow the support 3 to be folded down, without requiring the dismantling of the controls for the brake shoes 10, it is advantageous to provide for their control by means of a cable or a similar transmission.



       It is evident that although the rear wheel mounting device described above is intended especially for motorcycles, this invention can also be applied to bicycles, tricycles and sidecars.
