<tb>
<tb> Schwefel <SEP> gebundene, <SEP> mit <SEP> der <SEP> Gruppe <SEP> \.N-CO-X-<B>CH</B> <SEP> 2-Y <SEP> umsetzungs fihi, <SEP> #e <SEP> Wasserstoffatome, <SEP> z.13. <SEP> in <SEP> Form <SEP> von <SEP> primären <SEP> oder <SEP> sekundä ren <SEP> Amino=;ruppen, <SEP> 3ulfo:@@@iureamid <SEP> ;
Als Reaktivfarbstoffe seien beispielsweise solche Farbstoffe genannt, die als reaktive Substituenten 1-Chlorbutin-(2)-, 3,4-Dictii.orbuten-(2)-, 4,5-Dichlorpyridazori-(6)-, Chlormethyl- i)eilzo;Tl-, "-Halo"enithylsulforiamidreste oder in ss-Stellung durch Aether-, \I'hioäther-, Sulfon- oder dt;
EMI0011.0001
in 1000 Teilen Dimethylformamid imprägniert.
It has been found that textiles such as fibers, threads, flocks, woven and knitted fabrics can be dyed, printed and / or optically lightened by the new process.
The new process is preferably used for dyeing and / or printing of material containing hydroxyl groups, such as in particular textiles made from native and / or regenerated cellulose. However, it is also suitable for use on textiles made of cellulose acetate, polyacrylonitrile or copolymers of acrylonitrile with other vinyl compounds, or on textiles made of linear polyesters, e.g. made of polyethylene glycol terephthalate,
or based on terephthalic acid and 1> -dimethylol-cyclohexane, and it is also suitable for use on textiles made of natural and / or synthetic materials containing cartonamide groups, such as wool, natural silk or linear polyamides.
Alkaline agents are, for example, inorganic vert) indun ;; en, such as alkali hydroxides or alkali salts of weak acids, such as sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium acetate, disodium phosphate or trisodium phosphate. There are also oranic alkaline compounds,
named like pyridine or benzyltrimethylammonium hydroxide. Mixtures of two or more alkaline compounds k; "ic: = ien can also be used.

groups, <SEP> aulf'onic acid alkylamide groups, such as those with low molecular weight. arene alkyl radicals, hydroxyl groups and / or sulfhydryl groups. Of particular technical interest are those dyes that contain HO-alkylene groups and / or H2N-alkylene groups, for example dyes with HO-CH2-CH2 groups, H, N-CH2-CH2 groups and / or HO- CH 2-CH2-NH-SO2 groups. Which preferably over nitrogen,
Oxygen and / or sulfur-bonded reactive hydrogen atoms can also be a heterocyclic ring system, e.g. that of the triazole or that of the indole.
Dyes which are capable of forming one or more hydrogen atoms, preferably bonded via nitrogen, oxygen or sulfur, which can react with the \ N-CO-X-CH2-Y group during the dyeing and / or printing process, are, for example, dyestuffs with methylene ether groups or methylene ester groups, which are converted into niethylol groups during the process.
The disposable dyes contain one or more active hydrogen atoms which enable these dyes to react in the manner of an -o; enraptured Michael addition.
According to the present process, both dyes which are free from water-soluble groups and water-soluble dyes can be used. The latter dyes usually have one or more sulfonic acid and / or carboxyl groups as water-solubilizing groups.
Dyes which contain one or more sulfonic acid alkylamide groups, such as sulfonic acid (ss-hydroxyethyl) amide groups, as water-solubilizing groups can advantageously be used for the process according to the invention.
The dyes to be used for the process can also be reactive dyes which are capable of entering into a chemical bond with the goods to be dyed or printed.
In the case of such dyes, the new process increases the proportion of dyes fixed on the dye, ut washfastly, and thus significantly improves the yield of reactive dyes.
Examples of reactive dyes which may be mentioned are those dyes which have 1-chlorobutyn- (2) -, 3,4-Dictii.orbuten- (2) -, 4,5-dichloropyridazori- (6) -, chloromethyl- i) eilzo as reactive substituents ; Tl-, "-halo" enithylsulforiamidreste or in ss-position by ether, thioether, sulfone or dt;
rch with strong oxygen-containing acids esterified hydroxyl or mercapto groups substituted propionyl radicals or with strong oxygen-containing acids esterified β-hydroxyethyl radicals or radicals which contain the group -N-CC1- or which can form such radicals during the process.
The heterocyclic compounds of the formula I to be used for the process according to the invention can be e.g. by acylation of piperazine with compounds which give off the remainder of the formula -CO-X-CH 2-Y, for example chloroacetyl chloride or p-chloromethylbenzoyl chloride.
Heterocyclic compounds of the above-mentioned type are also obtained if nitriles containing halomethyl groups, such as chloroacetonitrile or chloromethylbenzonitrile, are reacted with formaldehyde by a process as described in the reports of the German Chemical Society, Volume 81 (1948), pages 527-53l for the preparation of hexahydro-1,3,5-triacryloyl-s-triazine is known, compounds of the formula II
EMI0007.0018
are formed.
Compounds of the formula II can also be obtained by a process known from Liebigs Annalen der Chemie, 288, page 247, by reacting acid halides, which give off the remainder of the formula -CO-X-CH 2 -Y, with hexamethylenetetramine.
The fixation of the dyes on the material to be dyed is already possible according to the new method at normal temperature, i.e. possible at around 15 to 30C. However, it is expedient to fix the dyes in the usual way, e.g. by steaming or dry carving, at temperatures between 30 and 200 C, preferably between 40 and 150 C, provided that the material to be dyed and / or printed allows these temperatures to be used. The dyes are advantageously fixed on cellulose textiles by steaming or by dry heating at 70 to 150 C.
In this temperature range, the fixation of the dyes is usually completed within about 5 to 10 minutes.
The method according to the invention can be carried out by treating the material to be dyed and / or printed with the alkaline agents, the dyes and the reactive additives of the type identified above one after the other and in any order. Preferably, however, the material to be dyed is treated with dyebaths or printing pastes which simultaneously contain the alkaline agents, the dyes and the reactive additives of the type identified above, these reactive additives optionally also being prepared in the dye liquor or the printing paste. The material treated in this way is then rinsed in the usual way, soaped if necessary and finished.
It may be of interest to use paraffin preparations which, in addition to the dyes, contain the reactive additives of the type identified above, optionally together with dispersants and / or dyeing or printing auxiliaries.
The reactive additives of the type identified above are expediently used in aqueous solution. However, they can also be used together with dispersants in finely divided form or as solutions in water-miscible solvents.
The water-miscible solvents for this purpose include dialkyl carboxamides such as dimethylformamide or dimethylacetamide, lactams such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, ethers such as glycol ether or tetrahydrofuran, but also alcohols such as methanol, ethanol or isopropanol, ketones such as acetone, and / or organic acids, such as formic acid or acetic acid, into consideration.
In addition to alkaline agents, dyes and reactive additives of the type described, the dyebaths and printing pastes of the invention can contain the usual dyeing auxiliaries or printing auxiliaries, provided these agents do not react in an undesirable manner with the starting materials required for the process.
Such dyeing auxiliaries and / or printing auxiliaries are, for example, surface-active compounds, such as alkyl sulfonates, or compounds which prevent the migration of the dyes, such as sodium acetate, or agents which improve the solubility and fixation of the dyes, such as urea, or thickeners, e.g. Oil-in-water emulsions, tragacanth thickeners, alginates or methyl cellulose.
As a rule, the dye baths and printing pastes are applied to the material to be treated by impregnation using a padder or by printing. In the case of textile goods made of cellulose, it is also possible, at the same time as the new dyeing and / or printing process, to undergo so-called high-quality finishing of the goods, e.g. a crease-proof finish.
For the new process for dyeing and / or printing textiles, 100 parts of dye ", .. approximately 10 to 200 parts of an alkaline agent and approximately 20 to 400 parts of a reactive additive of the type identified above are generally used.
The parts and percentages mentioned in the examples are weight units. Example 1 Cotton fabric is made with a solution of 20 parts of the compound of the formula
EMI0011.0001
impregnated in 1000 parts of dimethylformamide. The fabric is then dried and impregnated with an aqueous solution containing, in 1000 parts, 20 parts of the dye of the formula known under the name Acid Violet 9
EMI0011.0005
(Color Index, 2nd Edition, 1956, Volume 3, page 3385, Color Index No. 45 190) and 20 parts of sodium carbonate.
The fabric treated in this way is dried, steamed for 5 to 8 minutes at a temperature of about 102 ° C. and then rinsed and soaped as usual. A violet dyeing with good wet fastness properties is obtained. If the fabric is treated as described above, but not steamed at about 102 ° C. for 5 to 8 minutes, but heat-set at 140 to 150 ° C. for about 5 to 10 minutes, a similar purple coloration with good fastness properties is obtained.
If the procedure is such that the fabric is first impregnated with a solution of the dye and then with the solution of the multifunctional compound, a similar dyeing with good fastness properties is obtained after the work-up described above.
Instead of 20 parts of sodium carbonate, 20 parts of 38 B6 sodium hydroxide solution and 50 parts of sodium sulfate are added to the aqueous dye liquor, and the impregnated cotton fabric is stored in the moist state for several hours, preferably 15 to 48 hours, at room temperature instead of steaming or heating it and if the rest of the procedure is as described, a similar violet dyeing with good fastness properties is obtained. If you use a wool or natural silk fabric instead of a cotton fabric, you get similar violet colors.
Example 2 30 parts of the dye of the formula
EMI0013.0001
150 parts of water are poured over 20 parts of potassium carbonate and 100 parts of urea. The mixture is stirred with a thickener to form a printing paste which is obtained by mixing a solution of 20 parts of the compound of the formula
EMI0013.0003
in 150 parts of dimethylformamide with 230 parts of water and 300 parts of a sodium alginate thickener containing 40 parts of dry matter in 1000 parts.
The printing paste produced in this way is used to print white cotton fabric. The printed fabric is then steamed for 5 to 8 minutes at about 102 ° C. and checked and soaped as usual. A gray print with good wet fastness properties is obtained. <U> Example 3 </U> 20 parts of the dye given in Example 2, 20 parts of sodium carbonate, 1 to 3 parts of a commercially available emulsifier (for example 2 parts of a mixture of 80 parts of bone glue and 20 parts of an aralkyl sulfonate) and 2 to 5 Parts of a protective colloid,
for example 5 parts of a partially acetylated polyvinyl alcohol from K-Wart 30 are dissolved in water. A solution of 20 parts of the polyfunctional compound described in more detail in Example 2 in 150 parts of dimethylformamide is added to this solution with stirring in small amounts. It is made up to 1000 parts with water and the resulting dye liquor is used to impregnate cellulose tissue. The impregnated fabric is dried and then steamed at 102 ° C. for 5 to 8 minutes.
The usual washing processes give gray dyeings with smooth fastness properties. If 20 parts of Fluorescent Brightening Agent 48 are used instead of the stated dye (Color Index, 2nd edition 1956, 3rd volume CI No. 40640, Part I, page 2917) and the rest of the procedure is as described, a fabric is obtained which Fluorescent blue under the UV lamp.
<U> Example 4 </U> A fabric made of polyacrylonitrile is impregnated with an aqueous solution which contains, in 1000 parts by volume, 40 parts of an approximately 25 percent finely divided sample of the 1: 2 sodium salt obtainable according to German patent 535,472 -Cobalt complex of the dye of the formula
EMI0015.0006
20 parts of potassium carbonate and 20 parts of the polyfunctional compound emulsified according to Example 3 and described in more detail in Example 2 contains.
The fabric is dried, then steamed for 5 to 8 minutes, then rinsed and soaped. A red-brown dyeing with good fastness properties is obtained.
If a polyester fabric is used instead of a polyacrylonitrile fabric and the rest of the procedure is as described, similar red-brown colorations are obtained.
<U> Example 5 </U> White cotton fabric w: I.rd treated according to one of the processes specified in Examples 1 to 4, with 20 parts of Fluorescent Brightening Agent 31 (Color Index 2nd edition) in place of the dyes specified in the examples 1956, Part. I, page 2914) can be used. The tissue shows blue fluorescence when irradiated with UV light.
