Description

  

  Dispositif protecteur pour pneumatique éclaté ou perforé.    L'invention a pour objet un dispositif  protecteur pour pneumatique éclaté ou per  foré; il permettra d'utiliser ledit     pneumatique     longtemps encore, jusqu'à usure complète.  



  Le dessin ci-joint montre, à titre d'exem  ple, une forme d'exécution de ce dispositif  représenté étendu, avant son utilisation.  



  La fig. 1 en est une vue en coupe suivant  A-A de la fig. 2 -qui en est une vue en plan.  Cette     forme    d'exécution comporte trois  éléments 1, 2, 3 en toile de bâche ou autre  matière suffisamment souple et solide telle  que du caoutchouc toilé par exemple.  



  Une bande de renforcement 1 et une  patte 2 sont cousues à une bande 3 de plus       grande    largeur et à laquelle sont     fixés,    sur  chacun de ses bords, des     oeillets    4.  



  Ces     aeillets    4 sont prévus pour donner  passage à un lacet non dessiné destiné à  rapprocher les deux bords et à les maintenir  lorsque le dispositif est mis en place de façon  à constituer une gaine entourant la chambre  à air dans la zone où s'est produite l'ouver  ture accidentelle du pneumatique, la bande    de renforcement 1 étant alors placée exté  rieurement de faon à être située entre la  bande 3 et l'enveloppe usuelle éclatée ou  perforée qui recouvre le tout.  



  Cette bande 1 doit être orientée de ma  nière que la partie renforcée de la gaine soit  placée     contre    la région accidentée du pneu  matique, la partie renforcée restant     d'ailleurs          suffisamment    souple pour que la gaine se  prête parfaitement aux courbures longitudi  nales et transversale de celui-ci, ce qui est       facilité    par la disposition sur une ligne courbe  de chaque groupe     d'oeillets,    comme     montré     en     fig.    2.  



  Les dimensions de la gaine pourraient  varier suivant la grosseur du     pneumatique,     de cycle ou de véhicule quelconque. Le laçage       pourrait    être remplacé par un autre moyen  de fixation comportant, par exemple, des  boutons-pression.
