Description
Aufsetzfenster an Fenster.
Attachment window to window. The present invention relates to an attachment window arranged on a window, the frame of which is hung tightly adjoining the frame of the window and> together with this forms a double window. This arrangement ensures that simple windows can be temporarily or permanently formed into double windows without any structural changes being required.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the subject of the invention is illustrated; It shows: Fig. 1 a double window consisting of a window with a top window, Fig. 2 is a side view of the same, Fig. 3 is a cross section through the same, Fig. 4 and 7 cross sections through the frame men of the top window, Fig. 5 is a longitudinal section through a frame piece at the point of the cross-sections illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 7,
and FIG. 6 shows a view of the frame piece shown in FIG. 5, seen in the direction of the arrow P.
The frame 1 is for example made of a thin-walled profile strip made of metal Herge provides, which is stable enough to give a einekit ended glass pane 2 support. The profile, for example bent from sheet metal, has holes 3 with slots 4 on its support side. The slots 4 are chamfered in a wedge shape (points 5 in FIGS. 6 and 7). The wood screws 7 sitting in the window frame 6 have a neck 9 and a head 8 which are shaped such that, together with the slot 4, they allow the attachment piece to be pressed onto the window frame 6 without play.
The tenwand Be 10 of the frame is slightly above the wall 12 of the frame; Its protruding part serves to cover the sealing intermediate layer 11, which is rectangular in cross section. Other means can also be used as the sealing body, for example round rubber, hoses or resilient metal strips.
