Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme .d'exécution de ce dispositif: La fig. 1 montre la pièce enU vue de côté, la fig. 2 la même pièce vue de dessus; La fig. 3 est une vue de côté de la ron delle et de son téton; La fig. 4 montre l'écrou complétant le dispositif; La fig. 5 est une vue par-dessus de la rondelle et de son téton; Les fig. 6 et 7 sont une vue en coupe et une vue latérale du dispositif mis en place sur deux câbles dont il doit assurer la liaison;
Clamping device for electrical conductors. The object of the invention is a clamping device for electrical conductors, comprising for this purpose a part of which a part, externally threaded, has a housing for receiving conductors.
This device is characterized in that it comprises a U part formed by bending a profiled bar whose section is a rectangle and which is threaded on the field of the bar to allow a nut -to be screwed onto the branches of the U , the device also comprising a washer provided with openings for the passage of the branches of the U and comprising a central stud engaging between said branches to prevent their coming together when screwing a nut on the threaded part.
The parts can be established so that between nut, branches, stud and washer, there remain two housings intended to receive tenons of corresponding dimension of a tool allowing the device to be secured against a torsional movement. while tightening the nut.
The drawing shows, by way of example, a form of execution of this device: FIG. 1 shows the U part seen from the side, FIG. 2 the same part seen from above; Fig. 3 is a side view of the ron delle and its nipple; Fig. 4 shows the nut completing the device; Fig. 5 is a view from above of the washer and of its stud; Figs. 6 and 7 are a sectional view and a side view of the device placed on two cables which it must ensure the connection;
Fig. 8 is a view from above of the assembled device and showing the two housings.
The device shown consists of a part A in @U whose two branches B are externally threaded at B, so as to be able to receive a nut C intended to cause the clamping of electrical conductors placed in the housing D reserved between the branches of the U. Part A is obtained by bending a profiled bar whose section is a rectangle as shown in FIG. 2. The outer threading is performed on the field of the branches of the U.
The washer F. completing the device comprises two openings H for the passage of the branches B of the part A and a central pin J fixed to said washer by riveting or embossing at the hurry. The stud shown is cylindrical, but could be of any other shape, provided that, across the width of the notch D, it prevents the branches B from coming close together when the nut C.
Figs. 6 and 7 show. the device in place on two cables, these being introduced into the notch D, then the washer E placed with the stud directed towards the end of the branches B, the whole being finally tightened by means of the nut C .
To avoid a twisting movement of the device during tightening, one can use a wrench, not shown in the drawing, the end of which is terminated by two fork-shaped tenons which enter the notch L forming a free space between the stud of the washer and the inside of the nut.
Loosening of the nut C can be prevented by splitting the washer like a Grower washer and by providing notches on the lower surface of the nut that come into contact with the slot in the washer.
