Description
Dispositif de suspension à lames de ressort. La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de suspension à lames de ressort, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend au moins deux organes de friction disposés entre deux lames contiguës et fixés sur au moins une de ces lames.
La figure unique du dessin annexé re présente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exé cution du dispositif faisant l'objet de l'inven- tïon. Le dispositif de suspension comprend des lames a qui peuvent être en nombre quel conque. Entre deux de ces lames contiguës sont interposés des organes de friction b constitués par exemple par des pastilles ou taquets.
Ces taquets peuvent être en métal, par exemple en métal antifriction soudé sur la lame, ou en bronze au plomb également soudé sur la lame, ou encore en bronze brasé à basse température.
Les dimensions (surface et épaisseur) de ces pastilles ou taquets, leur nombre et leur répartition le long des lames peuvent être bien entendu modifiés à volonté.
Les taquets peuvent également être cons titués par une matière non métallique, par exemple de la fibre, du tissu d'amiante im prégné, de résine synthétique moulée. Leur fixation aux lames se fait alors par exemple par collage ou vulcanisation.
On pourrait encore fixer les taquets a sur les lames en les engageant partiellement dans de petites cuvettes prévues. sur lesdites lames. Ces cuvettes sont par exemple ménagées dans les lames ou rapportées sur celles-ci et la partie en saillie de la pastille venant en con tact avec la lame contiguë.
Le dispositif décrit utilisé notamment dans les suspensions pour voitures automo biles, wagons ou autres véhicules, présente les avantages suivants 1. Grâce à la présence des taquets ou pas tilles de friction, toutes les lames de ressort, même en cas de déformation, conservent entre elles un appui. 2. Le graissage est assuré d'une manière parfaite par suite des espaces formés entre les taquets, espaces qui sont remplis de graisse, celle-ci étant retenue sur le ressort par une gaine protectrice.
3. La flexibilité du ressort à lames reste constante, les coefficients de frottement ne changent pas lorsque la suspension est en service.
