Spraying and watering device for crops.
The object of the invention is a device for spraying and watering crops, in particular for vines. This device is characterized in that it comprises a distribution bar intended to be placed above the crops to be watered, on means. suspension allowing its movement along the surfaces to be sprayed, and which has at least one distribution pipe, this pipe being fitted with spraying and sprinkling members and connected to a flexible supply pipe, a, tion bringing the liquid used to water the crops to the distribution pipe.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the device forming the subject of the invention.

Fig. 3 is a side view of FIG. 1.
Fig. 4 is a side view of a device for driving the distribution bar.
Fig. 5 is a plan view of the. fig. 4.
Fig. 6 shows Tin detail.
In the drawing, the number 1 designates the stakes to support vines. Above, along certainrangéesdeceséchalas, for example one in seven, cables 2 are stretched, supported from distance to distance by posts 2a shown in FIG. 3. The distribution bar 3 of the spraying and sprinkling device consists of three pipes, a middle pipe 4, and two extension pipes 5 which are each connected to one end of the middle pipe.
At each free end of the extension pipes 5 there is a cable pulley 6 which can rotate on a journal 7, fixed to the pipe 5, and whose length is greater than that of the hub of the pulley 6, to allow the pulley to move axially.
Each pulley has a groove by which it rests. on cable 2. The tribal bar. tion 3 can Idonc be moved by means of two pulleys 6, the axial play of which makes it possible to follow the irregularities aecidentelies in the distances between two cables 2 approximately parallel. The middle pipe 4 has in the center two arms 8 which cross and act as a support for four transverse stiffening wires 9 attached to the flanges 10, preventing the pipe 4 from bending under the influence of its weight and that liquid flowing into it. The extension pipes are stiffened in the same way.
Flanges 10. are used to connect the extensions to the middle pipe 4, and you only have to tighten or loosen the outer coupling nut 10a to fit or remove the pipes 5. The small pipes 11 are connected to the distribution bar 3. each carrying at its lower end one or two nozzles for spraying the liquid to be watered on the plants or on the ground. Preferably, these branch pipes 11 are flexible in order to allow adjustment of the position of the nozzles in height and width by means of fixing movable on the bar 3 by which the pipes 11 can be held (fig 1. on the right part). In the middle of the distribution pipe 3 is connected the flexible pipe 12 bringing to the distribution pipe 3 the liquid to be sprayed.
It is fixed on a branch piece 13 comprising two taps 14 and 15 allowing the liquid to be directed, at will, on the left part or on the right part, or simultaneously on the two parts of the distribution pipe, depending on the position of the taps.
The movement of the bar 3 can be done by a cable 16 which is attached, at two points 17 and 18, to the middle pipe (fig. 2 and 3). However, other drive means can also be used, such as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, and comprising an endless cable 19 running around two pulleys 20 which are mounted at both ends of the surface to be sprayed, each on a support 21, and one of which can be controlled either by hand or by the driving force.
To drive the removable watering device, the cable 19 is provided with a drive button 22 which can engage in one of the two forks 23, respectively 23 'of a trigger lever 24 with two arms. (Fig. 6) fixed, rotatably in the middle of the bar 3 of the device.
In addition, the two supports 21 each carry a stopper 25, respectively 25 'in the shape of a trapezoid which serves to trigger the fork 23, respectively 23' of the button 22 before it passes around the pulley 20. By this trigger action, the lever 24 leaves with one of its forks the driving position on the "go" branch of the cable 19 and at the same time arrives with the other fork in the driving position on the "branch" return ", ready to be engaged by button 22.
Thus, the driven device stops after the lever 24 meets the trigger stopper 25 and resumes the travel in the opposite direction when the button 22 engages the fork 23 ', and so on.
After having placed the distribution pipe above the crops to be watered, and after having connected it to the flexible supply pipe, the taps 14 and 15 or, for example, only the left 14 The left part of the surface to be watered can then be watered first by slowly moving the distribution bar in one direction to the end of the surface, and then, after changing the position of the taps, the right part by regaining the starting point. On the other hand, before resuming a new stroke, the height or the spacing of the nozzles can be changed by means of the movable fasteners on the distribution bar.
After having watered a first surface in this way, the device can be dismantled by detaching the extension pipes 5 by the nuts 10 of the middle pipe 4. The three parts of the distribution bar can be easily transported and reassembled. for watering another surface.
