Description
Ski.
Ski. Skis whose running sides are covered with a coating of synthetic material, such as Bakelite, celluloid, etc., are known. The purpose of the covering is, on the one hand, to completely eliminate the wear and tear on the wood and, on the other hand, to achieve good, long-lasting lubricity without having to use wax.
These known coverings now have the disadvantage that the running surface is too smooth to be able to climb satisfactorily with such running surfaces.
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the adhesion, in a very simple way. The running surface of such a plastic covering is at least partially roughened. This also makes climbing easier. In addition, every wax adheres well. The tread can be robbed mechanically or chemically; the running surface can also be made soft in a homely manner and granular hard material can be embedded; It is also possible to use synthetic resin-bonded materials for the covering, which result in a rough running surface.
