Description
Transportable Filtriereinrichtung.
Portable filter device. Both with electric arc welding and with autogenous. Welding creates smoke and even dust, which is unpleasant for the operating personnel and also quickly contaminates the work area.
Efforts have recently been made to eliminate this disadvantage, in a manner that does not result in a noticeable increase in the acquisition and operating costs of the welding system. The simplest solution arises when means are provided that cause the smoke bezw. the dust is removed directly from the welding point, and the purpose of the invention is now to create a device particularly suitable for this purpose.
The subject of the invention is therefore a transportable filtering device with an electric motor-driven suction fan, which is installed in the foot of a filter that is designed as a stand base, in which an extension piece with a suction funnel that can move in all directions is attached to the suction pipe of the filter and the stand base is designed that way ,
that the stand base is prevented from tipping over when the suction funnel is fully extended.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail in the drawing, namely the figure shows a view of a portable filtering device which is used to suck off smoke and dust at a welding point. The foot of the filter 1 is designed as a stand base 2 and ent holds the suction fan 3, as well as the elec tric motor 4, which drives the fan 3 on.
At the upper end of the filter 1, a suction tube 5 is attached, which is provided with an extension piece that is movable on all sides. This extension piece can ent neither as a flexible hose 6 or, as indicated by dash-dotted lines in the figure, as a tubular suction arm 8, provided with joints 7 and pivotable about the axis of the suction tube 5.
In both cases is at the free end of the extension piece 6 BEZW. 8, a suction funnel 9 is attached, which can be placed in such a way that it is located in the vicinity of the welding point and sucks the smoke and dust from the work place when the drive motor 4 is switched on. To increase the range, the hose 6 can bezw. the arm 8 be provided with a vertical right part that fits into the suction tube 5 telescopically and can be pulled out as desired.
The filter 1 and the fan 3, as well. the electric motor 4 are built in the stator base to form a very compact unit that can easily be moved or carried from one welding point to another .. The stator base 2 is also designed according to the invention so that when the extension piece 6 is fully loaded, respectively. 8 a tilting of the filter respectively. of the stand base is avoided.
In those cases where the filter 1 does not. is placed on the floor, but on the work piece itself, it is sufficient tvenn the suction tube 5 is very short.
