Description

Dose.

Can. The can according to the invention has a lower part, the peripheral wall of which is designed to be gripped by the hand.

This is intended to make it easier to hold the lower part of the can for the purpose of removing and replacing the can lid and thus making handling of the can easier.

In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is illustrated.

Fig. 1 shows the can closed in view; FIG. 2 is a horizontal section through the lower part of the can, and FIG. 3 shows a corresponding partial section on a larger scale.

It denotes 1 the lower part and 2 the lid of the can. The lid 2 sits in the closed position by means of an outer edge bead 3 on a provided on the lower part 1 outer bead 4, which stood in some Ab from the covered by the cover 2 free edge of the peripheral wall of the lower part is attached.

On the inside of its peripheral wall, the cover 2 has a plurality of inwardly directed, respectively, to the ceiling. Dosen ase obliquely directed projections 5 for engaging with the outside on the circumferential wall of the lower part 1 above the bead 4 existing similar projections, for the purpose of holding the lid in the closed position. When removing and replacing the lid, it must be turned accordingly on the can.

In order to be able to hold the can bottom securely by hand for this purpose, it is designed to be gripping points 6 on its peripheral wall below the bead 4. These touch points consist of flattening conditions respectively. weak inward bulges, which stood on the can base 1 in uniform from each other around are attached to the peripheral wall. The so-provided arrangement of a larger number of gripping points on the otherwise circular peripheral wall of the lower part of the box enables this lower part to be easily grasped by hand,

This means that it can be securely fixed with the first grip in the hand.

Of course, fewer gripping points can be provided on the peripheral wall of the can lower part than as shown. In the example given, a tin made of sheet metal is assumed, in which the edges are made by pressing. However, the gripping points can also, in particular with other can material. be made in another way. The shape of the gripping points can also be selected in various ways.

It is clear that the can can serve various purposes, for example for ointments of all kinds, powders, etc. The inventive design of the lower part of the can allows the use of a good, effective closure of the can without a lever to be attached to the can to open it to need, which increases the production costs comparatively considerably.
