Auf den beiliegenden Zeichnungen sind zwei beispielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegenstandes veranschaulicht, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 einen axialen Längsschnitt nach der Linie I-I der Fig. 2 durch die erste Aus- fübrungsform der Verstellvorrichtung, wobei auf der linken Seite der Figur einige Teile der Einfachheit halber weggelassen sind, und Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie II-II der Fig. 1;
Device for the hydraulic adjustment of the blades of propellers. The invention relates to a further training from the device for the hydraulic adjustment of the blades of propellers according to the claim of the main patent.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the design of such devices in such a way that they are even more compact and lighter than before, and get along with as few parts as possible and also allow them to be largely designed as rotary bodies so that they can be produced cheaply .
For this purpose, according to the present invention, a thread is cut on the inside of an axially displaceable adjusting cylinder for the wing and this cylinder is blocked by a ring rotatably mounted on a stationary main piston, which on the outer circumference with a thread always engages in the Ge of the cylinder Gegenge thread is provided and is prevented by a locking device from rotating relative to the main piston as soon as the spring force acting on this device outweighs the fluid pressure acting on the same.
The accompanying drawings illustrate two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows an axial longitudinal section along line II of FIG. 2 through the first embodiment of the adjustment device, with some parts on the left side of the figure for simplicity are omitted, and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1;
Fig. 3 shows an axial longitudinal section through part of the second embodiment form of the adjusting device and Fig. 4 shows a section along the line III-III of FIG. 3 with the upper cover of the main piston removed.
1 denotes a cylinder which is slidable longitudinally, but not rotatably mounted on a tube 2. The longitudinal movements of this cylinder 1 bring about an adjustment of the propeller blades, which are also not shown, in a manner known per se and not shown. The pipe <B> 2 </B> is double-walled on part of its length and there are two groups of channels 3 respectively. 4 seen before, which can be connected either to a pressure medium source or to a drain in a manner not shown. 5 and 6 denote two parts of a main piston that sit firmly on the tube 2 and are held together by two cover plates 7, 8.
In the piston parts 5. 6 are two groups of around the axis of the tube? arranged, parallel to this axis of holes 9, 10 is introduced. The axes of all the bores 9, 10 lie on a cylindrical surface 11 '(FIG. 2) which is coaxial with the pipe 2, and alternately a bore 9 follows a bore 10 in the circumferential direction Each of the bores 9 is inserted a Steuerkol ben 11, the space 12 on one side of each piston 1.1 through a channel 13 in the piston part 5 with one of the channels 3 of the tube 2, while the space 14 on the other side each control piston 11 through a channel 1.:> with one of the channels 4 of the tube 2 is in connection.
Each control piston 11 has two groups of bores 16, 1 7 distributed over its circumference. 161 are channels provided in the piston part 5, which can connect the spaces 12 with the space 1i of the cylinder 1, and 171 are corresponding channels provided in the piston part 6, which can connect the spaces 14 with the space l 'of the cylinder 1. In the ver different control piston 11 is a common, with its center on the axis of the tube 2 arranged ring 18 is inserted. In each of the holes 10, however, a Zap fen 19 is inserted; the various pins 19 are mounted in the ring 18. Furthermore, two bushings 20, 21 are inserted into each bore 10 on both sides of the ring 18, between which the ring 18 is held.
Each sleeve 20 has a stop 22 which is pressed by a spring 26 usually against a stop 23 of the piston part 5, while each of the sleeves 21 has a stop 24 which is usually pressed by a spring 27 against a stop 25 of the piston part 6 is pressed. With the help of the bushes 20, 21 and the springs 26, 2 7 acting on the same, it is achieved that the ring 18 and thereby also the control piston 11 are held in a central position.
On the inside, a multi-start thread 28 is cut into the axially displaceable cylinder 1, the pitch angle of which is greater than its angle of friction. 29 denotes a ring rotatably mounted on the parts 5, 6 of the main piston, on the outer circumference of which (, is brought into thread 30; which always engages in the thread 28 of the cylinder 1. For receiving in the direction of the axis of the tube 2 occurring compressive forces, this ring 29 is supported on both sides on balls 32. On the inside, the ring 29 is provided with a toothing 33 which engages in a corresponding toothing attached to the outer circumference of the ring 18.
The operation of the device described is as follows: In Fig. 1, the various parts are shown in their central position .. In this position, the ring 18 prevents the ring 29 from rotating on the main piston formed by the Tei len 5.6. The adjusting cylinder 1 is therefore blocked.
If the propeller blades, not shown, are to be adjusted in a certain sense, one group of channels 3 is respectively. 4 with the pressure medium source, not shown, and the other group of channels 4 respectively. 3 connected to the drain, also not shown.
It is assumed that pressure medium flows in through the channels 3 and reaches the spaces 12 of the bores 9. If the pressure occurring in these spaces 1.2 rises above the level determined by the springs 27, the control piston 1.1 is shifted downwards and thereby also the ring 18 inserted into the same, so that its toothing disengages with the internal toothing 33 of the ring 29. The latter can now rotate freely. As a result of the aforementioned downward movement of the control piston 11 who, after the ring 29 has been released from the ring 18, the channels 161 are also released, so that pressure medium can now pass from the spaces 12 into the cylinder space 1 '.
On the other hand, through the channels 17 ′ and the bores 17 of the control piston 11, an outflow of pressure medium from the cylinder space 12 into the channels 15 and from these into the channels 4 is made possible. The pressure now asserting itself in the cylinder chamber 11 is able to move the cylinder 1 upwards, so that the desired adjustment of the wing is achieved in the desired sense. The threaded ring 29 rotates freely because the thread is not a self-locking one.
As soon as the flow of pressure medium is interrupted through the channels 3, the springs 27 are able to press the sleeves 21 with their stops 24 against the stops 25 again, so that the ring 18 and thus the control piston 11 are brought back to their position with . As a result, the external toothing of the ring 18 comes into engagement with the internal toothing 33 of the ring 29, whereby the cylinder 1 is blocked again. The teeth of the ring 18 are designed so that they can be brought into engagement with the teeth 33 of the ring 29 in each order of the peripheral position of the ring 18.
During the entire duration of the operations described, the bushes 20 have been pressed by the springs 26 against the stops 23, so that they have not exerted any force on the latter during the displacement of the ring 18 from its central position.
The parts of the actual blocking device described are completely symmetrical. If, therefore, the channels 4 are connected to the pressure medium source and the channels 3 to the drain, processes similar to those described take place, with the difference, however, that the cylinder 1 is then not moved upwards but downwards.
The Ausfüh shown in Figs. 3 and 4 differs approximately from the be written in that the control piston 11, the ring 18 and the pin 19 are combined into a single, axially displaceable ring 40 arranged with the center on the propeller nose . In this ring 40 bores 41, 42 are made alternately from below and above. The axes of these bores 41, 42 lie on a cylindrical surface, the axis of which coincides with the axis of the tube 56. In these bores conditions are compression springs 43 respectively. 44 arranged with their axis parallel to the propeller axis.
The springs 43 are supported against the part 45 of the main piston and spacers 46, while the springs 44 are supported against the part 47 of the main piston and spacers 48. The springs 43 and 44 seek the ring 40 when it has been moved by the pressure fluid speed in one direction or the other from its central position, each Weil to bring back into the same. 49 denotes the adjusting cylinder, on the inside of which in turn a thread is cut, and 50 denotes a ring rotatably mounted on the main piston formed by the parts 45, 47 and which has a thread 53 on the outer circumference,
which engages in the thread of the cylinder 49, while an internal toothing 52 of this ring 50 with a toothing 51 of the ring 40 can work together. 54 and 55 denote channels provided in the tube 56, which alternately lead to the supply and discharge of a pressure medium in the spaces 57 respectively. 571 of the main piston are used. 64 (Fig. 4) denotes guide cams which prevent the ring 40 from rotating relative to the main piston.
If, for example, pressure medium is supplied through the channel 54, the pressure of the liquid in the annular space 57 acts on the ring 40, which is therefore displaced upwards against the forces exerted by the springs 44. As a result, its toothing 51 comes out of engagement with the toothing 52 of the threaded ring 50. At the same time, control channels 59 for the flow of pressure medium from the annular space 5 7 to the space 60 of the cylinder 49 are free. On the other hand, control channels 61, which are in communication with the space 62 of the cylinder 49, are connected to the annular space 571 through bores 63 in the ring 40, so that pressure medium from the space 62 into the bores 42 and from these through channels 58 into the channels 55 can flow away.
The channels 59, 61 are only released for the flow of pressure medium after the teeth 51, 52 have come out of engagement. No pressure medium flows through the channels 54 respectively. 55 to or if the pressure fails for any reason, the ring 40 is held by the springs 43, 44 in the drawn central position in which the toothing 51 of this ring 40 is in engagement with the toothing 52 of the ring 50 and the latter therefore blocks the cylinder 49.
The operation of this second blocking device is, due to the symmetrical structure, the same for both directions of movement of the cylinder 49 by analogy. The concentric design: has the advantage that no centrifugal forces from one part affect other parts, but are absorbed by themselves.
The blocking of the rotatable ring on the main piston could BEZW instead of teeth by appropriately formed from friction surfaces, pins and holes in the rotatable ring. the axially displaceable ring or the like by spring and oil pressure.
