Window or door structure with a frame made of profiled metal sheet. The subject matter of the invention is a window or door construction with a frame formed from profiled sheet metal, which is characterized in that there are frame profiles of L-shaped cross-section in the window frame and in the sash frame,
where in one leg of the L-profile perpendicular to the frame plane and the other leg against the space between a sash and an adjacent frame men is directed parallel to the frame plane, and wherein the sheet material on the free longitudinal edge of the latter's angle at least by <B > 180 '</B> is cranked and this cranked and thus reinforced part of the last-mentioned leg is arranged in such a way that
that he with the feed or. Sash frame cooperates when closing.
In the accompanying drawings, the subject matter of the invention is shown, for example, in different versions, namely: FIG. 1 shows a cross section of a double window with coupled casement frames, FIGS. 2, 3, 4 and 5 different embodiments of different parts of the sheet metal profiles for the frame according to the invention.
In Fig.l, 1 denotes a wall on which a feed frame is provided. The feed frame ordered from a smaller, on the inside of the window before seen profile sheet 2, 3 and one of them isolated., In the main L-shaped ge bent sheet metal 4, 5. The two profiles are through an intermediate layer 6, z. B. made of heat-insulating material, separately.
The perpendicular to the frame plane's angle 4 of the L-shaped profile is cranked at 7 ge and forms here together with the leg 3 of the profile sheet a groove into which a sealing strip 8, z. B. made of rubber, felt or the like. Is inserted.
The free end of the parallel to the frame plane rectified .Schenkels 5 is cranked twice at right angles inward, such that it ends in a ledge 9 to be directed towards the limb 4, which together with the limb 5 is a groove open to the limb 4 forms. In the wall 1, recesses 10 are provided within the leg 3, into which a part 11 of a hinge 12 protrudes through a corresponding opening in the leg 2 of the profiled sheet.
The part 11 is attached by Punktsch, # veissen on the seeing kel 3; but it can of course also be riveted or screwed to it.
The casement frames have in cross section mainly L-shaped profile sheets 13, 14 and 15, 16 and with grooves for sealing strips 8 provided profile sheets 17 and 18. The parallel to the window plane legs 13 and 15 of the L-shaped profiles are just like the. Legs 5 of the feed frame bent twice at their free ends and form after the inside of the profiles concerned to directed strips 19 respectively. 20. The strips 9, 19 and 20 of the lining and sash frame profiles are arranged in such a way that they interact with the sealing strips 8 when closing.
The part 12 of the hinge is passed through the leg 13 of the lin ken wing profile 13, 14 and attached to it by spot welding or in some other way. The profile leg 13 thus receives a completely smooth surface on the inside of the window, and the hinge part 1.2 is essentially hidden within the profile.
The profile legs 14 and 16 are respectively at 21. 22. Cranked and thereby form a groove-shaped groove extending along the frame sides, which forms one side of the fold required for edging the glass panes.
The window panes 24 and the sealing strips 25 enclosing their edges are framed in the grooves and strips 23 mentioned above. The profiled sheets 17 and 18 are also bent over several times so that folds 26 and 27 are formed between them to which and to the strips 23 attached to the profiles the window panes 24 are held with their sealing strips 25. The strips 23 can be attached to the profiles by spot welding.
The profiles can also be folded in such a way that they form grooves which are used to hold the window panes in place. so that all strips 23 are unnecessary. The frame profiles 13, 14 and 17 of the left inner respectively. The outer frame of the window is held together by hinges 28. Coupling devices 29 of any type are provided on the opposite sides of the casement for the purpose of holding the casement together.
The space between the profiles 15, 16 and 18 of the left window sash and the profiles 13, 14 and 17 of the right window sash can expediently be used to accommodate espanjolettes or other locking devices for the windows. In FIG. 1, for example, a connecting rod 30 is provided in the leg 13 of the right window.
In the coupled double window described above, the inward and outward-facing parts of the casement frames (flat surfaces with a simple shape and the hinges, espa.njoletten or the like. Are hidden within the frame.
In the context of the invention, an embodiment is also provided in which the profiles 13, 14 and 17 respectively. 15, 16 and 18 are connected from the beginning on their mutually facing edges. The drawn embodiment can be imagined by dividing such a frame structure in the window level, with inner and outer sashes being formed.
The window or door construction described above can of course be modified in various ways, and the invention can also be applied, for example, to simple doors and windows. The folding, crimping or bending of the profiles to form the folds for the window panes can be carried out in various ways.
The bending over or folding of the profiles at points 26, 27 by <B> 180 '</B> can also be replaced by folding twice by <B> 90' </B> each or by a curved fold by more than < B> IM ', </B> e.g. B. can be achieved on a mandrel with a circular cross-section or designed in some other way bend, and there may also be other adjoining folds.
The cranking required for the fastening of the necessary fold can be performed, for example, in the manner shown in FIGS. 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the sheets 31, 32 and 33 and 34.
According to Fig. 2, the leg .des L-shaped sheet metal profile 31, which is directed perpendicular to the plane of the frame, together with the bit strip 3.6 serving to hold the window pane 24 in place, a fold serving to mount a glass pane.
According to Fig. 3, the leg of the sheet metal profile 32 is crimped at one end and forms together with the cement strip 36 for edging .der the glass sheet 24 serving fold.
According to FIG. 4, the leg of the sheet metal profile 33 is also flanged at one end. A T-shaped strip 35 made of rubber or a material thereof is attached to the same and, together with the cement strip 36, forms the fold used to surround the glass pane 24.
According to FIG. 5, the handle of the sheet metal profile 34 is double cranked, namely by two oppositely directed, right-angled crankings, of which the upper part together with the bit strip 36 forms the fold used to surround the glass pane 24.
The leg of the L-shaped sheet metal profile of a sash, which is directed against the space between the sash and an adjoining frame, can also be designed so that it has a fold extending along the free longitudinal edge of the leg in question is of such magnitude that part of the hinges used to: swing the window or door frame is hidden within the rebate.
The frame profiles to be used have simple shapes and can be manufactured at low cost, the frame being light in weight and facilitating the insertion of panes.
