Description
Fig. 1 veranschaulicht einen Längsschnitt durch den Behälter.
Method and device for loosening dusty goods in containers.
It is a well-known phenomenon that powdery embers which are stored in more or less large containers are very difficult to get out of these containers, e.g. B. bunkers, silos or the like can be removed. It often happens that, for example, flour slops off like a vault over the outlet opening and no longer rises. It can also often be observed that only a vertical or almost vertical funnel is formed above the outlet opening, in which the flour runs off, while the rest of the contents of the container remain and can only be brought to drain with difficulty by pushing.
In many cases, the flour simply flows out up to a certain angle of slope, whereby a residue then remains on the inclined sliding surfaces or in the corners of square silos.
In many cases, however, it is of the greatest importance that the powdery material is completely and continuously evenly emptied from the container in question. This is the case, for example, when it is a matter of an even allocation of different types of flour that are to be mixed with one another, or for example of the allocation of coal dust to the burners of a pulverized coal furnace, etc. Such an even allocation can never be achieved, however, if the good does not flow out evenly.
So far, no device has become known by which these deficiencies can be completely eliminated. Mechanically operated devices such as agitators, screws etc. have been built into the containers or silos, but without being able to loosen up and flow out the material evenly.
Furthermore, it has already been proposed to blow an air stream obliquely upwards against the opposite transitions from the lateral container walls into the funnel-shaped lower part through nozzles arranged in the vicinity of the emptying opening.
When using such nozzles, however, depending on the number and size of these nozzles, the gas is blown into the container in a more or less continuous manner, which means that bridging structures within the sloping property are utivernieidlieli.
The present invention eliminates these inconveniences in that the gaseous agent is blown into the container through a filter, for example through pores of a permeable filter stone. By blowing in compressed air, compressed gas, etc. in such a fine form, the goods are prevented from peeling off or getting stuck inside the container, because the entire contents of the container then to a certain extent rest on a gas layer blown under pressure and cannot possibly get stuck. The bottom of the material container can be designed in a manner known per se as a double bottom, in the cavity of which the pressure medium in question is introduced.
It can also be expedient to subdivide the cavity of the doubly designed container bottom into individual compartments which are charged individually or as a whole with the relevant pressure medium. It is also advantageous to design the bottom surface of the container to be conical in order to achieve the largest and most effective surface possible.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment of a device for practicing the method.
Fig. 1 illustrates a longitudinal section through the container.
The container, for example a large silo made of reinforced concrete or sheet metal, is designated by 1. Flourish material is stored in this container and is then to be withdrawn through the outlet opening 2. The bottom 8 of the container, shown in the figure as lying at an angle, is covered at a certain distance with the gas-permeable layer 3 made of porous stones.
Between this layer 3 and the container bottom 8 there is an intermediate space 4 into which the pipeline 5 opens. This is connected to the gas supply line 6 through the shut-off element 7. tired. In this way, the cavity 4 can be pressurized with the gaseous medium, and the gas flows, distributed in many fine jets over the entire surface, through the gas-permeable mass 3. The void in the container is continuously or over the entire bottom surface the gas is added periodically as required and in this way it is liquefied and brought to the Aus'diessell.
The device can also be made in such a way that the hollow space between the legs is divided up by the installation of intermediate webs in gastight separated and mutually lying abutting parts. Each of these departments has a special lockable connection to the gas supply line. With this arrangement, there is the possibility of allowing the gas to flow in over all or only part of the floor area, as required.
The arrangement can also be made in such a way that, for example, the gaseous agent is distributed through the porous mass only in the corners or only around the outlet of the container.
