Method and device for filling chamber furnaces for production
of gas and coke The object of the invention is; when filling chamber furnaces for production
of gas and coke by a substantially horizontally directed steam or
Gas flow to distribute and level the falling coal over the chambers as well
to avoid the nuisance caused by filling gases.
The known processes and the ones required for them are usually expensive
and cumbersome devices do not solve the above dual task, but deal with it
dealing only with the discharge of the filling gases or only with the distribution, d. H. Leveling
the loading. While the previously known methods only fill and the filling gases
Derive without nuisance and only then level, is according to the new procedure
at the same time the chamber is filled, the filling gases discharged and the leveling of the
Loading done. The method according to the invention has in comparison
in addition to the known methods, the advantage of saving time, d. H. promoting a
high throughput of the ovens, simple operation and low system costs.
According to the method according to the invention, when filling chamber furnaces
the coal falling through the filling holes from essentially horizontal
Steam or gas flows are detected and distributed over the chambers. The degree of distribution
depends on the weight of the coal, on its grain size and volatility as well as on
the balance of the flowing steam or gas. The distribution remains the
Upper gas collecting space of the chamber for the common extraction of filling gases and blown gases
Vapors or gases are released through the riser pipe, so that nuisance from filling gases
avoided and the valuable substances contained in them can be recovered.
That
Blowing in the vapors or gases into the upper gas collecting space in a horizontal direction
takes place through nozzle heads arranged in the gas collection chamber, which either through: the
Filling holes or through special openings in the upper oven ceiling
Gas collecting space can be hung. It is already a loose storage method
known from coal poured into coking chambers, in which vertical telescopic tubes
the hopper is inserted into the chamber through the central axis; their lower
Ends open into flat cylindrical hollow bodies, from whose upper base the falling
Coal is countered by a vertically directed stream of compressed air: t is; the the on
the coal particles counteracted gravity and one in the height direction
causes more uniform storage of the coal. A lateral distribution of the from the
Filling holes falling coal, as they are in the new process through the horizontal
directed steam or gas flow comes about, is in this process
neither intended nor achieved.
In the method according to the invention, the nozzle heads are provided
Pipes for feeding the gases or vapors into the filling hole at the central filling holes
hooked in, while at the two outer filling holes through in the oven roof
openings arranged next to the filling holes are introduced and here - only the
Have nozzle heads facing the axis of the filling hole.
