Starting ignition device for internal combustion engines. The invention relates to a starting ignition device for internal combustion engines, through which the primary winding of a magneto igniter, which is connected to ground on one side, is supplied to the operation of the internal combustion engine during the starting process by means of a buzzer fed by a battery.
With the starter ignition devices known up to now, the buzzer current was fed directly into the primary winding of the magneto. In such systems, however, difficulties arise when the line network connected to the battery is laid with two poles, as is usually the case, for example, in aircraft.
It can then happen that the battery is short-circuited during starting, namely when that feed line that is connected to the pole of the battery connected to the magneto has a ground short. When the starter ignition device is operated, the other pole of the battery must be connected to ground so that the circuit is closed via the grounded primary winding of the magneto.
If there is a short to ground in the battery wiring system, the battery will be short-circuited during starting and will of course be damaged.
To avoid this, according to the invention, the buzzer current is fed to the primary winding of the magneto via a transformer, so that the battery has no galvanic connection with it.
In the drawing, two execution examples of the inventive concept are shown in switching pictures.
In the circuit diagram according to FIG. 1, a is the low-voltage winding, b is the high-voltage winding and c is the distributor of a magneto. The Niederspannungswick development is verbun at one end to ground, while the other end is connected to a breaker d, which is also connected to ground. The magneto is connected to a buzzer current generator.
This consists of a battery e. a transformer f and a so-called buzzer g. The primary winding k of the transformer is connected to the terminals of the battery via a switch h and buzzer contacts z. The movable buzzer contact il is arranged on the end face of the core f of the transformer.
The buzzer is isolated from cregen earth. The secondary winding fir of the transformer has one end to Nasse, while the other end is connected to the breaker-side end of the primary winding of the transformer. The transformation ratio of the transformer is expediently 1: 1.
The remaining power consumers of the system, such as lamps, etc., are connected to the battery by means of two insulated lines r and s.
In the embodiment according to FIG. the buzzer is provided with its own excitation winding. This buzzer winding and the buzzer contacts are connected in series with the primary winding of the transformer.
You could of course put the buzzer coil aueli parallel to the primary winding of the transformer in the second embodiment. In the two circuit diagrams is. one end of the transformer is connected directly to ground.
It is, however, a matter of purpose to switch on an interrupter in the wet line with the same opening time as the interrupter but with an opening and closing time that is closer to this.
