Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 202856. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen, metallhaltigen Beizenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen, kupferhaltigen Beizenfarbatoff erhält,
wenn man ein Molekül 2-Amino-5-oxynaphthalin-7- sulfonsäure zuerst in schwach saurem Medium mit einem Molekül diazotierter 2-Amino-l- oxybenzol-6-carbonsäure-4-sulfonsäure und nachher in schwach alkalischem Medium mit einem Molekül diazotierter 1-Oxy-2-amino-4- chlorbenzol-6-sulfonsäure kuppelt und den erhaltenen Disazofarbstoff mit einer kupfer abgebenden Substanz behandelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 23,3 Teile 2-Amino-l-oxybenzol-6-carbon- säure-4-sulfonsäure werden in üblicher Weise diazotiert und in essigsaurer Lösung auf 23,9 Teile 2-Amino-5-oxynaphthalin-7-sulfon- säure gekuppelt. Dann wird der erhaltene Monoazofarbstoff in alkalischer Lösung mit der Diazoverbindung aus 22,4 Teilen 1-Oxy- 2-amino-4-ohlorbenzol-6-sulfonsäure weiter gekuppelt.
Nach beendeter Kupplung wird der erhaltene Disazofarbstoff ausgesalzen, ab- genutscht, in 3000 Teilen heissem Wasser gelöst und diese Lösung mit einer wässerigen Lösung von 50 Teilen kristallisiertem Kupfer sulfat versetzt. Die violette Lösung wird während 1 Stunde bei<B>90'</B> gerührt und dann die Kupferverbindung durch Aussahen mit Kochsalz isoliert. Durch Kochen einer Lösung der Kupferverbindung bei Gegenwart von Al kali kann, wenn nötig, eventuell nicht kom plex gebundenes Kupfer gefällt werden.
Der neue kupferhaltige Farbstoff bildet, wenn getrocknet, ein violettes Pulver, löst sich in Wasser mit violetter Farbe, in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure mit rotvioletter Farbe und liefert im Chromdruck auf Baumwolle, Kunstseide aus regenerierter Zellulose oder auf Naturseide violette Töne, die sich durch gute Echtheiten, insbesondere durch eine sehr gute Lichtechtheit auszeichnen.

if one molecule of 2-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid is first mixed in a weakly acidic medium with a molecule of diazotized 2-amino-l-oxybenzene-6-carboxylic acid-4-sulfonic acid and then in a weakly alkaline medium with a molecule of diazotized 1 -Oxy-2-amino-4-chlorobenzene-6-sulfonic acid and the disazo dye obtained is treated with a copper-releasing substance.
<I> Example: </I> 23.3 parts of 2-amino-1-oxybenzene-6-carboxylic acid-4-sulfonic acid are diazotized in the usual way and, in acetic acid solution, 23.9 parts of 2-amino-5- oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid coupled. The monoazo dye obtained is then coupled further in alkaline solution with the diazo compound from 22.4 parts of 1-oxy-2-amino-4-chlorobenzene-6-sulfonic acid.
After the coupling has ended, the disazo dye obtained is salted out, filtered off with suction, dissolved in 3000 parts of hot water and this solution is treated with an aqueous solution of 50 parts of crystallized copper sulfate. The violet solution is stirred for 1 hour at 90 'and then the copper compound is isolated by soaking it with common salt. By boiling a solution of the copper compound in the presence of alkali, if necessary, copper that is not complexly bound can be precipitated.
The new copper-containing dye forms a violet powder when dried, dissolves in water with a violet color, in concentrated sulfuric acid with a red-violet color and, when printed with chrome on cotton, artificial silk made from regenerated cellulose or on natural silk, produces violet tones with good fastness properties , especially characterized by very good lightfastness.
