Pyrophores Feuerzeug.
Fig. 6 eine Seitenansicht der zweiten Aus.
Pyrophoric lighter. The invention relates to a spring lid provided with pyrophoric lighter whose ignition is taken by opening the spring lid before.
While with the common lighters of this type the device is regularly made in such a way that the spring cover engages under a resilient push button with a projection or a tongue, according to the invention the cover is provided with lateral projections which, when the cover is closed, provide a rotatably mounted, Reach under the spring-loaded lever, which is connected to an outwardly protruding hand. However, this makes it possible to assign the handle for opening and actuating the lighter to the side in such a way that you do not come near the flame that is forming when you press it with your finger.
The handle can bezw by an oblique. be guided arc-shaped downward going slot of the housing, so that it is possible to make the operation both by a finger pressure from above and from the side, which makes handling very convenient.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated, namely Fig. 1 shows one embodiment in the closed state, partially in section, Fig. 2 shows a section through the same embodiment with the lid open, Fig. 3 shows a front view of the opened lighter , partially in section, FIG. 4 the lower part of the lighter after the mechanism has been removed in side view, FIG. 5 shows an individual part in a perspective pictorial view on a larger scale,
Fig. 6 is a side view of the second Aus.
FIG. 7 shows the same lighter in the open state and FIG. 8 shows an individual part of this lighter in a perspective view on a larger scale.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-5, viewed from the outside, it is an essentially heart-shaped lighter. Since the mechanics of the lighter with your wick tube 2 and the flint tube 3 is fully constantly mounted on the bracket 1. In this the spring cover 5 is hinged at 4. The whole mechanism is consequently together with the goat from the heart-shaped fire tool housing 6 can be pulled out.
The spring cover 5, in which the extinguishing cap 7 sits and on the axis of rotation also the friction wheel 8 is rotatably arranged in the usual way, is under the action of a spring 9. The cover 5 is on both sides with an incision 10 (Fig. 2) provided. A bow-like lever 11 (FIG. 5), which is rotatably mounted at 12 on the bracket 1 and is under the action of a spring 22, can engage in these incisions. In the closed position of the cover, the lever 11 engages with a nose 13 in the incisions 10 of the spring-loaded cover and is engaged from below by the projections 10 'of the latter.
At a suitable point on the bracket lever, the pin 14 provided with a loading button 15 is attached, which goes past the bracket 1 and protrudes laterally outward through a slot 16 (Fig. 4) on the upper edge of the heart-shaped housing part 6.
To operate the lighter, one only needs to press button 15 downwards or to the side so that the bow lever 11 disengages from the incisions 10 of the lid 5, whereupon it pops open and generates the sparks in the usual way by taking the friction wheel 8 with it .
The embodiment according to FIGS. 6-8 differs from the first described mainly only in the external shape, which here is the generally usual shape of a rectangular flat pocket lighter. In this case, the mechanics supporting block 26 forms a coherent whole with the fuel container, and this is inserted into an outer, 'the actual housing forming sleeve 17, which can also be missing if desired, in the latter case the one mentioned below Slot 23 would be present in the lighter housing itself.
While in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-5 the spring lid 5 is sunk in the middle to complete the shape of the heart of the lighter, the lid 18 of the lighter according to FIGS. 6-8 is flat at the top or designed in any other way.
Here, too, Untergrei fen in the closed position of the lid on the side of this provided, ge by incisions 19 formed projections 19 'a nose 20 (Fig. 8) of a bracket-like lever 21, which is formed in a very corresponding manner and is arranged as the lever 11 according to Fig. 5 and also under the action of a spring 22 is. The pin 14 of the actuating button 15 is passed through an arcuate, downwardly sloping slot 23 of the bracket 26.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 6, the entire mechanism of the lighter is completely covered by the lid in the closed position of the lid (5 or 18).
Many changes to the embodiment shown are possible without departing from the essence of the invention. In particular, the mechanism of the lighter can be designed in any way; What is essential for the invention is only the special type of training and arrangement of the spring cover and its actuating member.
