Circular saw. The present invention is a circular saw with an electric drive motor.
In the circular saw according to the invention, the saw blade shaft is on one arm and the drive motor on the other arm of a rocker mounted in the machine frame angeord net and an arm of an angle lever is hinged to the saw blade shaft, which is on a machine frame at a distance equal to the length of the Angle lever arm mounted on the rocker axis link of the length of the distance between the rocker axis and saw blade shaft is mounted such that the rocker arm, the link and the arm of the angle lever together form a parallelogram with two fixed points so that the angle lever is parallel to itself himself moved,
and that the other arm of the angle lever protrudes on the operating side of the machine frame and is provided there with a manually operated adjusting and locking device.
The setting and locking device works appropriately with a guide or a toothed arch attached to the machine frame in such a way that it can be disengaged by simply pushing or pulling and without having to let go of the handle used to adjust the saw blade, whereupon the saw blade moves can be brought almost into the desired position with one jerk.
In addition, a fine adjustment can be provided, which adjusts a worm or a screw, for example by turning a handwheel, which brings about the precise setting of the saw blade after the locking element has already automatically re-engaged when the handle is released.
A riving knife is expediently attached to an arm of the angle lever so that the riving knife maintains its position with respect to the saw blade when the latter is adjusted.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, together with detailed variants, is shown in the drawing, specifically showing: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through a circular saw; Fig. 2 shows a section through the adjusting and locking device in the released position; FIG. 3 shows a first variant of the adjusting and locking device in side view, FIG. 4 shows an end view and FIG. 5 shows a top view thereof; Fig. 6 shows a second variant of the adjusting and locking device in side view, Fig. 7 is a front view and Fig. 8 is a horizontal section.
In the circular saw shown in Fig. 1 and 2 is in the machine frame 1 under the table on the rear, d. H. Be the service side opposite side, an axis 3 attached transversely to the saw blade 5, on which a rocker 2 is rotatably mounted. In the forward arm 2a of this rocker, the saw blade 5 supporting shaft 4 is mounted, and on the backward protruding, to a plate wreiter th arm 2b of the electric drive motor 7, which drives the saw blade shaft by means of the belt 6. In addition, an angle lever 8 is articulated on the shaft 4, which is mounted in a link 10 which is articulated on an axis 9 arranged in the machine frame below the rocker axis 3.
The length R of the link is equal to the distance A of the saw shaft axis 4 from the rocker bearing axis 3, and the distance of the link axis 9 from the rocker axis 3 is equal to the length of the angle lever arm 8a. The Wip penarm 2a, the angle lever arm 8a and the link 10 together form a parallelogram, so that the actuating arm 81) of the angle lever 8 always moves parallel to itself in the Höhenver position of the saw blade shaft. At the end of the actuating arm 8b of the angle lever 8 sits a handle 8h and below the same an actuating lever 16 is hinged about an axis 17, in which a worm 13 is mounted in a Ge housing 15. A handwheel 14 sits on the outside of the worm shaft.
In a hub of the lever arm 8b, a worm wheel 11 is mounted under the worm 13 which engages in the toothed arch 12 attached to the operating side of the machine frame. The adjusting lever 16 is pressed downwards by a helical spring 18 and the worm 13 is held in engagement with the worm wheel 11.
On which the saw blade shaft 4 encompass the joint head of the angle lever 8, a horizontally rearwardly projecting arm 39 is attached to which the riving knife 40 is adjustably attached so that the same makes the adjustment movement of the saw blade 5 with exactly.
In the drawing, the highest position of the saw blade together with the riving knife and the adjustment elements are fully extended and the lowest position is shown in dashed lines.
To adjust the saw blade, one hand grasps the handle 8h of the angle lever 8 and the adjusting lever 16 and swivels the latter from the position shown in FIG. 1 into the position shown in FIG. 2, whereby the worm 13 out of the worm wheel 11 is disengaged. Now you can move the angle lever 8 roughly to the desired height of the saw blade with one jerk. The adjusting lever 16 is then released so that the worm 13 is engaged by the spring 18, and the fine adjustment can now be made by means of the handwheel 14.
The circular saw does not need to be turned off here, since there is no danger to the worker making the setting, and the entire setting can be made from the operator side.
In the setting and locking device shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the angle lever arm 81) has a pin 8f at the end, which is displaceable in a sleeve 19. The sleeve 19 can be displaced on a four-can rod 22, which in turn is displaceable in supports 20 and 21 on the machine frame. At the top of the square bar 22, a thread 22s is arranged on which a handwheel 23 is screwed, which is secured against displacement by means of a two-part ring 24, rotatably mounted in the upper support 20 bar.
The square bar has a series of through holes 22a. The sleeve 19 has an eye 19 a in which an adjusting pin 25 is slidably mounted ver, which protrude into each of the bores 22 a and pulled out by means of a sleeve 26 pinned to it who can. Furthermore, a ring 19b is screwed into the eye 19, and the adjusting pin 25 has a collar 25a; A compression spring 27 is inserted between the latter and the ring 19b, which strives to press the adjusting pin 25 into one of the bores 22a.
For rough adjustment of the saw blade, the adjusting pin 25 is pulled out by means of the adjusting handle 26 and the sleeve and thus with the angle lever 8 are moved towards the desired position so that the adjusting pin snaps into an adjacent hole 22a. The fine adjustment is then effected by turning the handwheel 23. The top position of the adjustment device is fully extended, the bottom position is shown in dashed lines.
According to Fig. 6 to 8, the sleeve 28 is slidable on a round rod 29, which is secured in supports 30 and 31 on the machine frame ge against rotation and has a number of through holes 29a. An adjusting sleeve 32 is arranged above the sleeve 28 on the round rod 29, which is formed with an adjusting pin device 19b, 27, 25, 25a, 26 as described in the first variant. The sleeve 28 has an arm 28v on one side and above that the adjusting sleeve 32 has an equal arm 32v.
On the latter, an adjusting screw 33 provided with a rotary knob 34 is mounted secured against axial displacement and screwed through the arm 28v of the sleeve 28 so that the distance between the adjusting sleeve 32 and the sleeve 28 can be changed by turning the screw 33.
For the coarse adjustment of the saw blade, similar to the first variant, after pulling out the adjusting pin 25, the adjusting sleeve 32 with the sleeve 28 on the round rod is moved approximately to the desired height position until the adjusting pin enters the corresponding hole 29a snaps, whereupon the fine adjustment is effected by turning the adjusting screw 33.
