Link for the assembly of bars, in particular of tubular metal constructions. The subject of the invention is a link for the assembly of bars, in particular of tubular metal constructions, characterized in that it comprises two jaws, each of which has on one of its faces a corresponding clamping surface at least partially. at the periphery of the bar, and at least one of the two of which has on the other of its faces a bearing surface allowing the juxtaposition of another .ïen.
The two jaws can be linked together by a member allowing them to be separated for mounting on the bar.
An assembly knot may have more than two links, at least two of which are attached together independently of the bars.
The connection can be such that before tightening it allows pivoting, so that a connection made up of any number of juxtaposed links can be placed between bars forming any angle. In this case, the links of the same fitting can be oriented with respect to each other. The links are fixed in two ways 1 to the bars by means of the bar clamping surfaces.
20 to other members, in particular other links, by bearing surfaces.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention comprising two jaws hooked together by a hinge which makes it possible to deform the gripping surface in order to introduce the bar. and tighten it.
Figs. 1 and 2 show the shape of each of these jaws.
Fig. 3 shows links joined together by their bearing surfaces and by a bolt and a nut, to fix in relative positions with respect to each other, two tubes 1 and 2.
Fig. 4 is, on a smaller scale, an explanatory view of the use of the links, showing other relative positions of the two tubes.
Each of the two jaws has a clamping part 3 and a hooking part composed of a spout 4 and a hook 5.
