Fig. 1 zeigt das Schema des Abricht- vorganges; Fig. \? zeigt die Verteilung des Gesamt spa.nvolumens auf die einzelnen Profilringe der Schleifscheibe; Fig. 3 ist ein Querschnitt durch eine Aus- führungsform der Vorrichtung; Fig. 4 ist eine Seitenansicht nach Fig. 3 und Fig. 5 ein Grundriss nach Fig. 3;
Device for profiling and dressing frustoconical thread grinding wheels. The invention relates to a device for profiling and dressing frustoconical thread grinding wheels with several self-contained profile rings, which gradually grow in diameter and whose profile width, which is effective during grinding, also gradually increases to the last profile ring having the finished profile, with the help of at least one grooving profile tool,
with the alternating graduation and single-stroke strokes opposite the grinding wheel.
According to a known proposal, three Abrichtw emkzeuge are seen in front of these grinding wheels, which are usually used for the axial grinding through of threaded workpieces from the solid, which are arranged on a slide parallel to the grinding wheel axis @ e: are.
One of these three dressing tools can be adjusted perpendicular to the grinding wheel axis and is used to prepare the Pxofil grooves. The width and depth of the profile ribs are graded using the other two dressing tools, one of which is guided over the left flanks and the other over the right flanks of the grinding wheel ribs.
When dressing the flanks, it is necessary to additionally adjust the corresponding dressing tool laterally by a certain amount after each indexing stroke by moving the main slide in order to obtain a profile that is stepped compared to the previous profile. So there are several cumbersome operations required to produce a profile wheel, so that the profiling of the grinding wheel is tedious.
Furthermore, a dressing device is known in which the grooving profile tool can be moved with the aid of a compound slide relative to the grinding wheel. The cross slide is arranged on a base plate that can be pivoted in order to be able to profile either conical or cylindrical profile grinding wheels with several profile rings.
When setting up cone-shaped grinding wheels, the plunge-cut grooves of the grooving profile tool are perpendicular to the surface line of the grinding wheel cone and the pitch strokes are parallel to the surface line of the cone. The piercing heights are the same here. The pitch strokes must be calculated from the groove spacing of the grinding wheel profile rings and the angle of inclination of the grinding wheel cone.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the grooving profile tool can be moved parallel to the indexing stroke and perpendicular to the grinding wheel axis in the grooving stroke, whereby a stop device which interacts with the carrier of the grooving profile tool and is designed in this way is provided to limit the grooving strokes.
class with the same size division strokes, the plunge stroke that takes place after each division stroke is changed by the same selected amount, so that the outer profile edges of the profile rings lie on a conical surface.
In this way, you can achieve rapid and yet perfect profiling and dressing of the grinding wheel identified at the beginning.
In the drawing, Ausführungsbei are games of the subject invention provides Darge.
1 shows the scheme of the dressing process; Fig. \? shows the distribution of the total spa volume on the individual profile rings of the grinding wheel; 3 is a cross-section through an embodiment of the device; Fig. 4 is a side view of Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 is a plan view of Fig. 3;
Fig. 6 is a side view of a white direct device; Fig. 7 shows another embodiment of the device; FIG. 8 is a side view according to FIG. 7. In FIG. 1 of the drawing, the Abrieht- process is illustrated as it follows with a grinding wheel prepared with the devices shown in FIGS. 3-8.
The grinding wheel .S shown on a larger scale in partial section is intended, for example, to receive the profile rings I-VIl, which in the present case are arranged apart from one another by twice the pitch of the thread G indicated by dashed dots. For piercing the profile grooves in the originally cylindrical grinding wheel, the piercing profile tool 1, z. B. a profile diamond or a profile tool with a cutting edge made of hard metal.
When the profile groove located between the profile rings VI and VII is pierced, the tool 1 is introduced radially into the grinding wheel in the piercing stroke by the amount t. The moving means for the tool 1 will be described later. After completion of this groove it is withdrawn and moved along the grinding wheel in the pitch stroke by the amount 21r. The profile tool is then moved radially to the grinding wheel by the amount t -f- x. so that the profile groove between the rings V and VI is created.
When grooving the third groove, the grooving stroke is t -I- 2, r, for the next t -f- 3.r. etc. The size of the successive penetration strokes of the tool 1 thus increases according to the law of an arithmetic series. and the profile rings VII to I are thus produced.
When profiling you can of course also start with the front profile ring l. The outer profile edges l; the profile rings lie on a conical surface, which is characterized by an angle a.
During thread grinding, the grinding wheel AS is axially parallel to the Werlzstüel; arranged and there is a relative longitudinal feed between the two. The total chip volume of a thread groove is distributed over the individual profile rings, as illustrated in FIG. 2.
The profile ring I grinds the layer a, the profile ring II the layer b, the profile ring III the layer e, the profile ring IV the layer d, the profile ring V the layer e, the profile ring VI the layer f and the profile ring VII the layer g from.
While each flank of the profile rings I to VI is equally stressed, on the last profile ring VII, which carries out the final grinding, only the left flank performs grinding work by lifting off layer g. This is not a further disadvantage, especially since several finishing ribs can be provided.
In the device according to FIGS. 3 to 5, the piercing profile tool 1 is fastened in a carrier 2, which is held in a detachably arranged lugs 4 by means of the screw 5 in a detachably arranged on the tool base 3. The tool slide 3 can be moved radially to the grinding wheel S in transverse guides 6 of the lower slide 7 in the middle of the screw spindle 9, which can be adjusted from the handwheel 8.
The lower slide 7 is on longitudinal guides 10 -des support respectively. Ge stells 11 displaceable parallel to the grinding wheel axis. This longitudinal displacement he follows by a constant pitch stroke corresponding to the groove spacing on the grinding wheel and is carried out by a screw spindle 12,
which is moved by a part crank 14 which interacts with a part disk 13. The graduated disk 13 has different hole circles whose hole spacing corresponds to the intended division.
To limit the piercing strokes of the slide 3, a disk 15 is provided next to the slide, on the flat side of which stops 16 are arranged in a circle. The stops 16 are of a steadily decreasing height corresponding to the steadily increasing size of the Einsteehhübe. The disc 15 is through a; engaging in their hub wedge 17 connected to a shaft 1.8, wel che rotatably in the mounted on the sub-slide 7 bearing block 19 is ordered. The turning of the disc 1,5 takes place from the handwheel 20.
On that, sledge; 3 a counter-stop 21 is attached, which cooperates with the stops 16. The counter-stop 21 is expediently designed as a set screw. After each constant pitch stroke, that is, after each longitudinal movement of the carriage 7, another stop is brought into position by turning the handwheel 20.
In order to secure the respective working position of the stop disk 15, notches are placed on its back, into which a spring-action pin 22 jumps in. The stop disk 15 could of course also be rotatably arranged on the tool slide 3 and the fixed stop 21 on the lower slide 7.
In the embodiment of FIG. 6, the axis of the stop disk is perpendicular to the direction of movement of the carriage 3. There are 1.6 stops on the circumference of the disc 15 ', which is rotated from the handwheel 20' from ver. The disc 15 'is mounted on the carriage 3 and the counter-stop 2.1 on a; Bocke 2, 3, which is attached to the lower scMitte 7; of course, the arrangement could also be reversed here.
The working position of the stop disk 15 'is secured similarly to the embodiment according to FIG. In the examples shown, the stop washer 15 or 15 'by hand.
The scolding could, however, also be done by a gear connection actuated by the threaded spindle 12. The stops 16 can be made nachstellbax or replaceable for preparing ver different grinding wheels. However, different exchangeable stop disks 15, 15 'with inserted saw saws 16 can also be kept in stock.
After each adjustment of the: disk 15 respectively. 15 'the handwheel 8 is adjusted until the counter-stop 21 respectively on the set stop of the disc 15. 15 'occurs.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 8, the grooving tool 1 is at one end of a two-armed,
the tool carrier forming lever 2-4 Lefetigt. This can swing about the axis 26 in the bearings 25. The bearings? 5 are attached to the slide 27. This is shifted on guides 28 of a frame 29 parallel to the grinding wheel axis, in each case uni the constant pitch stroke. The sliding movement is controlled by a screw spindle 30 from the one with the indexing disk. 31 cooperating part crank 3? from causes.
On the front of the frame 27, a rail 3.1 and an axis of rotation 35 can be adjusted to incline on holders 33. The rail is arranged along the frame guides. The handle 36 is used to loosen and clamp the rail.
which is designed as a screw nut and is in engagement with a fixed screw bolt 37 which passes through a bo "en-shaped slot 3" "of the rail 31. The straight upper edge 34a of the rail 34 serves as a boundary -saiischl <ig for the swinging movement of the lever 24.
The arrangement of an adjustable rail as a limit stop has the advantage that any desired grinding wheel cone can be reached by simply adjusting the rail 34 within certain limits. The rear arm 24b of the lever 21 has a longitudinal slot 4c which is penetrated by a screw bolt 40 movable about a hinge 39.
On the screw bolt 4 (1 there is a handwheel 41 provided with a nut, y. Thread, the lower side of which is designed as a spherical cap. The lever: 21 is pulled under the action of the spring 4? In a direction that is guided by the grinding wheel. A stop designed as an adjusting screw 43 is also attached to the arm 24b of the lever 4, which stop interacts with the bending edge 34a.
The tip of the stop screw 43 is rounded or designed as a cutting edge. so that a point or Line contact with. the edge 3.1n consists. Is turned on the handwheel 41. the lever 24 then deflects and the tool 1 penetrates the grinding wheel until the stop i: 3 strikes the upper edge 31a of the rail 34.
Since the inclination of the rail 34 corresponds to the angle of the cone on which the profile edges k of the profile ring (I to VII) are to lie, set accordingly. is.
the plunge stroke of the plunging tool that takes place after each constant indexing stroke is always greater by the same amount, that is to say the tool 1 gradually penetrates deeper into the grinding wheel and the profiling shown in FIG. 1 is produced. After each indexing stroke, the handwheel 41 is rotated until the stop 43 rests on the rail 34 ..
In order to be able to correctly effect the exit of the tool from the grinding wheel into the starting position after each insertion stroke, it is advisable to attach a mark to one of the bearing points 25 which interacts with a mark on the hub of the tool lever 24. The Riicl,: ivärtshul> deHebels? 4 could also be through a stop. the one in the sledge? 7 would be attached. be limited.
If the grinding wheel 8 is used to grind threads \ 011 without a rounded core, the tips of the finished profile rings can be flattened with the grooving tool 1 accordingly. If the grinding wheel is to be used for grinding threads with a rounded core, the outer rounding of the finished profile ring is produced with the aid of a correspondingly concave profiled dressing tool.
L m to protect the cutting edges of the profile tool 1. A preliminary roughing tool could be arranged in the device, which cuts the grinding wheel profiles to an approximate size.
