Description
Teleskopwelle.
Telescopic shaft. The invention relates to a telescopic shaft with a lubricating device through which the lubricant can be introduced between the two shaft parts which can be slid into one another.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is shown in a longitudinal section.
It denotes 1 the inside and 2 the outside of the two mutually displaceable parts of the illustrated telescopic shaft. The cross section of the shaft can be arbitrary, for. B. circular, square, rectangular, polygo nal, etc. be. The outer shaft part 2 carries an inwardly open, hollow ring approximately in the longitudinal center of its sliding surface and is provided with several holes 4 on its circumference. A connection nipple 5 for pressure lubrication is screwed onto the ring 3.
When lubricant is supplied, the cavity of the ring 3 is filled with lubricant, which penetrates through the holes 4 between the two shaft parts 1 and 2. As a result, the friction surfaces of the same turn from the middle part to the two ends provided with lubricant, i.e. the lubricant flows to the ends of the two shaft parts. This not only facilitates the mutual movement of the latter, but at the same time,
deT Ingress of dust etc. between the friction surfaces is avoided or any dust and sand that may have penetrated are pushed outwards.
As a result, the wear and tear of the same is reduced and thus the risk of creating play between the shafts is considerably reduced. To prevent the lubricant from escaping at the end of the outer shaft part, a head 6 with a clamped sealing washer 7 made of felt is placed on this shaft end.
The latter also keep the part of the friction surfaces of the inner shaft part that temporarily emerges from the outer shaft part free of dust etc.
